    Once again a brilliant album from Taylor swift, returning to her camp-esque pop scene with a mix of tongue and cheek to poetic lyrics, simplistic and complex productions. It goes everywhere and its all around enjoyable for the fanbase she has amassed.

    I did not enjoy it as much as her last two releases, the 2020 sister albums. It just felt a bit watered down and a mixture of lover and reputation, That being said songs such as ANTI HERO, KARMA AND SWEET NOTHING are great. The 3am tracks sound more like the sister albums and I especially LOVE the great war and high infidelity

    Amazing! She always manages to bring something new to the table and not mess it up. It's fresh, it's dark, it's new. The lyrics may seem simple at first but contain many messages and hidden meanings. Stunning.

    I think what's so confusing about this album is the way that it was marketed vs the way it actually sounds. I expected melancholy, yearning, and regret... but we got "Karma is a cat."

The themes are coherent, and the sound makes fans reminisce over past eras - 1989 and Reputation in particular. Personal favourites seem to be anti-hero, as well as Vigilante **** which is no surprise, seeing as they are two of the best songs on the album. Taylor has definitely outdone herself, and this album is something to listen to, even if you don't particularly like Taylor's past albums… Expand

    Taylor Swift manages again to make catchy pop anthems and telling her true self at the same time. Although Folklore's artistic personality and poetry might seem a little off, the singer is capable of creating good quality music with a fantastic concept. Midnights' lyrics and productions are not disappointing at all.

    Something i definitely havent expected, but im here for it! new taytay is not just wonderful, but also most honest as shes ever been. this is the first album ive ever heard that truly feels like getting into their mind. it definitely takes time to appreciate this album, but its worth it. also, im in LOVE with anti-hero mv :)

    Absolutely love Taylor and I love this album! It’s in my top 3 favorite albums by her. Favorite songs are anti-hero, lavender haze, midnight rain, and you’re on your own kid.     I love the concept of the album and think the lyricism is top-par, even for Swift.

    I really appreciated the high energy on both Anti-Hero and Karma. I think some of the other pop songs on the album (such as Question...?, Vigilante **** Labyrinth) have a more generic pop sound that has been done before and do not stand out sonically. However, lyrically, all of these songs are still    I love the concept of the album and think the lyricism is top-par, even for Swift.

    I really enjoyed both Snow On The Beach and Sweet Nothing. They were a nice change of production to break up the album, are amazing lyrically, and great sonically.

    So overall, I think the lyricism is incredible but the overall production on several songs has more to be desired. Taking a song such as Maroon, for example, and adding more energetic production would have been interesting. Perhaps an upbeat 80s type beat and more enthusiastic vocals. This was the general trend I had on most songs- with a more nu-disco, EDM, or banger-pop beat/production, these songs would have been taken to another level, just like Anti-Hero and Karma.    … Expand

I love every song, and truly think Midnights is some of Taylor's best work. It feels like a more refined yet experimental version of her past work.     If her Lover album is 4/10, this is 1/10. Midnights has no real music, no production , no melody and no good lyrics. It has nothing good. Same old stories since her beginning, kitchen , pocket etc etc.Same old melody since Lover.     I will admit I'm a swiftie. I went into this album completely open minded and found something I REALLY enjoyed. I think enjoying music depends on your taste and how much you relate to it. My favorite Taylor song is Dress from her 2017 Reputation and this album completely embodied that. I relate to this album SO BAD it's insane that somehow Taylor really studied my brain for this album. II will admit I'm a swiftie. I went into this album completely open minded and found something I REALLY enjoyed. I think enjoying music depends on your taste and how much you relate to it. My favorite Taylor song is Dress from her 2017 Reputation and this album completely embodied that. I relate to this album SO BAD it's insane that somehow Taylor really studied my brain for this album. I know the production is very controversial but it's great, I love it. Anyway I totally recommend this album but don't go into it thinking it's gonna be the best album ever you have to develop that idea.

    I have not liked a taylor swift album since 1989. I was in high school then. I really think she needs to stop writing songs because many of these tracks felt uninspiring and made me lose brain cells. for example the lyrics in Anti-Hero saying "i feel like everyone is a sexy baby".     Sincerely this is quite a pulished album. This is exactly what I expected from an artist like her. Well deserved world recognition. Chosing dark pop and be experimental was the best. I enjoyed it from the start till the end.

Snow on the Beach with Lana del Rey making back vocals make a feeling so unique at all ( and for thosedon'tknow, Lana make other back vocals, since 2018 as fas I know). Sweet Nothing it is almost a hug in my feelings. Anti-Hero make me feel represented in an tragicomic way but super well-designed. Great album, worth every song!… Expand

    This album is fantastic. It has all the best production aspects of 1989, reputation, and Lover, as well as the lyricism of folklore and evermore. Would've, Could've, Should've and Lavender Haze are the standouts right now, but all the tracks are great. It's also her 10th album after over 16 years in the industry and the fact that it's this good is insane.

    Great album This seems like a mix of 1989, Reputation and Lover. I like the concept, and the lyrics are top tier (not as good as Folklore ones but still amazing). I was VERY excited for SOTB for the Lana collab, but she appeared 15s and not as main vocals; the song was boring and nothing was shown up.

    incredibly cohesive production in a deceptively short package. my favorite theme throughout the album is a more nuanced feminist perspective; lavender haze, anti-hero, you're on your own kid, and mastermind have the most clear lyrics in this theme.

    The tracks (especially at the start) begin to get boring— could barely get myself to listen to the rest of the album. Lavender Haze and Vigilante **** are the only reason why I’m rating this higher. This just doesn’t scream “Taylor!” to me, but who am I to judge.

    Deluxe tracks saved it but the main version was so good too. It did grow on me after the 3am came out. 3am has some of her best songs tbh. After you come to terms with her goals about this album and realize the quarantine Taylor is gone, you start to enjoy it a lot more. Great record!

    Swift is no longer competing for the top with other pop stars, she's on a different level at this point. Midnights is a very complex album.
    Starting from the effective lyrics, vocals, and also the overall production is very interesting. All the songs on this album build on each other. In conclusion this album is a perfect pop album.
