    Truly a masterpiece of steady synth beats with experimental and soothing vocals. Ms. Swift is in her element. And everything aligned. The bonus tracks provide even more amazing tracks, but the 13 track album stands on its own.

    A stunning return to the place she belongs - the top of the singer-songwriter-pop-superstar podium. A true piece of artistry for every person who is in love and hates themselves every day. If I could go 13/10, I would. The 3am Tracks just add further beauty to this masterpiece. Anyone who scores this crazy low is either a saboteur or has no music taste or ear for talent.

    As a fan, I'm not sure if I really liked it. There are EXCELLENT songs (Midnight rain, Maroon, Lavender Haze, Karma, You're on your own, kid), however some of these tracks sound quite the same. Still enjoyed 90% of the album, just disappointed with this one-note production mixed with enhancing lyrics.

    Interesting, the aesthetic is cohesive in all the album, and she play with new sounds in her voice, new instruments like synths. But overall she could change a little the path during the tracklist in a few listening (the times most all the people liaten to) the sounds can’t be seperate one from the order and you could get loose listening to it.

Dress is one song that can fit into midnighTS without any significant difference. The production, the songwriting and Taylor's vocals are so matured and developed and are on another level. The fact that Taylor managed to make it as a visual album is an outstanding milestone in her career.
    Kinda disappointed when lana only did backing vocals on snow on the beach, but it's okay. I'm pretty sure they collabed even more lyricwise . And, i hoping that Taylor did a song in LDR10.    … Expand

    Fantastic. Just Fantastic. This is truly her best body of work in terms of her entry into pop records. The synth instrumentals are almost reminiscent of 1989, while the lyrics hold clear support from most recent records of ‘folklore’ and ‘evermore’.

Very much a mix of 1989/Reputation/Lover so I recommend if you like any of those albums. It also has some experimental songs in there which is always nice to hear. I believe this is the most vulnerable we’ve seen her and while the vibe is fresh, it still very much threads the heart of Taylor throughout. How she continues to expand new boundaries while remaining true to her is beyond me (genius?)

The rest is fairly boilerplate and forgettable, but the production is crisp and potent throughout. Huge influence of Jack Antonoff on this album helps cultivate its nocturnal motifs. The 3am edition is brilliant. Not a fan of the censored version. 8.6/10

    While many people are praising her effort of being introspective on this album, it feels like she’s trying so hard to achieve that with these songs. Yes, it sounds good and there’s a production value, yet I can’t help but hear Jack Antonoff all over the album. It’s one of the better pop albums but it’s not her best work of art.

And tracks like “Midnight Rain” & “Question…?” is pop songs we needed at such a time that music was dying. But, it can’t be Taylor without ballads, “Snow On The Beach” captures the beautiful sound of a type of-Christmas Eve vibe meanwhile “Your On You’re Own, Kid” gives so much depth into the symbolism she uses.     Easily one of Swifts best albums. The sounds are new for her and experimental but she has found a way to execute them perfectly. At this point it seems there is no genre that Swift couldn’t overtake. She has proven she is multifaceted and genre-bending. Her writing is consistently improving and impressing and her production (particularly when in collaboration with Jack Antonoff and AaronEasily one of Swifts best albums. The sounds are new for her and experimental but she has found a way to execute them perfectly. At this point it seems there is no genre that Swift couldn’t overtake. She has proven she is multifaceted and genre-bending. Her writing is consistently improving and impressing and her production (particularly when in collaboration with Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner) never disappoint. Taylor Swift’s music is timeless. Simply put this album is pop perfection, with the lyricism of a poet. She has once again proved she will always one up herself and break her own records. I expect Midnights to be no different.     This album is another time where Taylor completely reinvents herself by being more vulnerable and true about her insecurities. Giving us heartbreaking and emotional lyrics which are so sophisticated and just perfect to express those emotions she wants to evoque in her audience.
