    Overall a very solid album, a few spots seem a bit dry to me or just flat out boring, but i love the vibe this concept album is going for. Personal favorites: Lavender Haze, Anti-Hero, Snow on the Beach, Midnight Rain, and Labyrinth
    Least favorites: Karma, don’t necessarily dislike this one, it just seems a bit forced to me, not many songs on this record i dislike.

    This album is amazing. The best album of the year so far, it covers so many emotions and feelings there is a song for whatever mood you’re in. Taylor has truly created another masterpiece. Midnights lives up to and deserves all the hype.

    A beautifully produced album with absolutely haunting melodies. Taylor pulled out her pop pants and fully laced it with meaningful lyrics while maintaining the fun intricacies of goofing off. Very enjoyable to listen to between bouts of crying, screaming and throwing up.

    in my opinion this is my favorite taylor swift album. i have been listening since her debut i love her so much and this album is so beautiful and sparkly. her pop side is showing and it’s so good to see it again. this album feels like reputation mixed with lover and a dash of folklores sound. this album is perfect and has no skips, taylor swift really is a mastermind. GO

Even if at the beginging you are not sure, then, the more you play it, the more you fall in love with it. I feel like with this album it will be like with Reputation.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. We already know how great Taylor's lyrical work is so I'm gonna focus on my criticisms more than my praises.

    The bridges are average, some of the melodies go nowhere, the flow of some of the lyrics is off. The 3AM edition has some great additions but some of the songs feel like filler. Love the choice of Karma being a gel pen pop song and Taylor going all in on the reputation vibes with Vigilante Sh*t. Some of the songs feel too similar to others and I'm not referring to references and interpolations but the sings within the album compared to each other. The production also feels wonky and a bit uninspired. However I do acknowledge that some of the songs didn't please me as much as they should've (especially the 3am songs) because of my particular music taste but when I try to think of the melody for The Great War for example, i often get it confused with the music in Paris or High Infidelity.    … Expand

    I really love the aesthetic of this album considering it's her 10th album and I am very exited for the era of this visual album. It's like a mixture of 1989, reputation, Lover, folklore and evermore. I really loved the sound it's catchy and not too bland. I think this might be her best album era if you are a long time fan since the beginning.

    A really great album. I think the music really embodies what a sleepless night feels like. The album could be described as a baby between reputation and 1989 with a hint of lover. There are no skips on this album.

    Dejando de lado las expectativas rock/pop que se tenían. Este álbum es un poco decepcionante, la percepción mejora con cada escucha, pero todo parece muy plano. Aunque la voz de Tayqueen nunca decepciona, me quedé con las ganas de un puente enganchador al que nos tiene acostumbrados. Después de escucharlo en orden y aleatoriamente varias veces, ninguna canción se queda en la mente. NoDejando de lado las expectativas rock/pop que se tenían.     Taylor once again proves that she's her only competition. She doesn't have to prove anything at this point, she's just creating art for the sake of it. The bonus 7 tracks are simply a cherry on top. Her willingness to share the whole creating process with us is one of a kind. She comes back to pop after her venture through other genres and constructs a new standard for music all on her own. Again.

    Taylor Swift made people wait almost three years for her tenth studio album, and for good reason. This album is pure perfection, from the experimental sounds, the depth of the lyrics, the promotion, all of it. This album was a smash hit, both on the charts and in my opinion.

Some absolute bangers (Lavender Haze, Karma, Your on your own kid, WCS, Anti-Hero, snow on the beach) but i’d be lying if i didn’t say that i preferred evermore to this. it’s a solid record, but i really liked the way taylor was going musically with the likes of Folklore and Evermore lyrically, so even though i do enjoy the album, i can’t help but imagine what could be. and to talk about the lana song, i was disappointed to hear that, after all the hype about taylor and lana finally collaborating on a song, two lyrical powerhouses in music, to have lana not even get a verse and be reduced to backing vocals got me disappointed. It’s still a great track and one of my favourites from the album and i suppose i might have been expecting too much but still. Overall a solid record with a lot of earworms for sure, and some songs i’ll be playing in my car for awhile now, but a good few of them, i won’t.… Expand

    Probably, one of this year’s “better” Albums, but definitely not one of the bests, because 2022 gave us some really great Albums. I can see this on my Top 15 Albums of 2022, but, probably not gonna be on my Top 5 that’s for sure. This Album is in between, mediocre, and probably will soon be considered as one of Swift’s lesser Album. A good show, but it’s just not cutting it.

    My favorite pop album that Taylor Swift has made to date! Her song writing is exceptional & consistent in quality from her previous 2 albums. I think the music is catchy & experimental, but also reminiscent of 1989, reputation & lover (in a nostalgic way though - not an overdone way). This album exceeded my expectations & was well worth the hype.

Midnights combines the best parts of Swift’s complex and thoughtful lyricism with the pop that catapulted her into global domination a la 1989. Songs like ”Bejeweled” and “Karma” are high tempo hits, but as she does, Swift hides lyrics that hit hard when you give them a deep listen. On the other side, songs like “Labyrinth” and “You’re On Your Own, Kid” are slower songs that bring us back to the confessional ballads we’re used to from Swift. Swift tries some new things with songs like “Midnight Rain” and “Question…?” by adding in characteristics of hyper-pop like voice modulation and a high tempo high pitch beat that adds to the vibe of the song. Throughout her career, everything Swift has touched has been good, but one could say this album is “bejeweled” with diamonds, as this album doesn’t miss with the songs about the things that keep us up at midnight.… Expand

    I find this album to be pure pop perfection. Voice,lyrics, music. Honestly who writes a pop album with such deep and thoughtful writing about so many different topics? It's ethereal and dreamy but also personal , vulnerable and full of memories of the past. Things and thoughts that haunts as all, maybe in different ways. Who hasn't ever thought about things that could've been, if thingsI find this album to be pure pop perfection. Voice,lyrics, music. Honestly who writes a pop album with such deep and thoughtful writing about so many different topics? It's ethereal and dreamy but also personal , vulnerable and full of memories of the past. Things and thoughts that haunts as all, maybe in different ways. Who hasn't ever thought about things that could've been, if things were done differently. Sonically I love the 80s sound in some songs, the synth .There's just also something experimental about it that I love. I feel like this is a time travel throughout her life ,career, fame. True fans will love this. Non fans can still appreciate the writing and the ethereal melodies. This is definitely different than any of her previous pop albums. I feel anyone who says this sounds anything like her previous ones might have some biased negative opinion about Taylor in general. People surely had a lot to say when Taylor released 1989 after being country. A few people who got to love her for folklore only ,will do the same but the aftermath is what matters .… Expand

    The first time I listened to the immediate, explicit, release and hoped for a clean version. Now I only listen to the clean 3 a.m. album. While I enjoy every song on the clean album, I do have favorites. Yet my favorites are subjective so I hope people will listen to the entire album multiple times, as I did, and love it. The lyrics are    Surprising, deep, interesting and wonderful.

    Album is really good! Not her best but not her worst. My favorite tracks on Midnights are Lavender Haze, Snow on the Beach, and Karma! Overall I give it an 8.7 which rounds up to a 9. Looking forward to the new MV!

    She always gives something new from her. This is a new flavor but a bit reminiscent with her older works, like how Maroon reminds me of her 2017 album "Reputation" and how the lyrics of You're On Your Own, Kid is familiar with the lyrics from the Fearless TV Album. Overall, the album is a bop. A classic!

    Her most seamlessly mature pop effort yet. The lyrical uplevel of the folklore era is present even as she returns to her trademark cheeky, ironic but oh so sincere pop production. Cannot stop listening!

    It's her best album in years!!! Her best pop album, but not better than Folklore, Evermore and Red.

    El álbum es bien aburrido, todas las canciones dicen lo mismo, pero es muy digerible, lo puedes escuchar de fondo y la verdad no es pesado, dependiendo tus gustos obviamente, pero como álbum la verdad no se me hace algo bueno, simplemente lo veo como un álbum más, si no fuese porque es de Taylor Swift la gente ya lo odiaría.

If you have locked into your mind the media’s idea of Taylor this will be jarring. But if you can accept that she isn’t who she was or who she told us she was - this album is incredible. It feels like her most honest work, musically and lyrically. She’s not trying to do anything, she’s not making her songs relatable to the general public, she’s not changing pronouns, she’s not belting about a broken heart standing in the tower of a castle. She’s just a human, creating music, and putting it into the universe as it was made, no commercialization needed. I love this album. The sound, the vibes, the lyricism, the way she calls out her fans (of which I one) more than once. The way she isn’t afraid to just be silly and absolutely troll her fans with Karma. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it is her best creative endeavor to date… Expand

    Si soy franco, no es un mal álbum, pero creo que está lejos de superar al menos a su top 3 de su discografía, las pistas suelen tener una melodía y letra repetitiva vista anteriormente en sus otras obras al punto en donde puede llegar a aburrir.
