Jun 14, 2019I was not at all prepared to like this album. Although I enjoyed Medellin I thought Crave and Future were lackluster. However, in the context of the album they work. God Control is one of the best Madonna beats ever; although, I don't really care for the lyrics.

Outside of the box, rich and deep.
Her life in Lisbon contributed so much eith her criativity, her best album of the decade. -

Jun 14, 2019The album is great and sounds unique! Madonna is the “Queen of Pop” and here she proves why. The best album since “Confession on a Dancefloor”.
-
Jun 14, 2019Um álbum que resume a carreira de Madonna e que a coloca novamente na música experimental. Do dance clássico ao fado, ela mais uma vez reinventa o pop.
-
Jun 14, 2019Masterpiece. Madonna redefines the pop music, just as what she did with Like a Prayer, Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dance Floor
-
Jun 22, 2019The Best album of Madonna since Confession on a dance floor. Here she mixes portuguese music with a little bit of latin music. I really don't understand why this album has so many mixed reviews!
-
Jun 14, 2019On just the first listens - one of the most consistent, creative albums she’s delivered in years. Definitely not chasing trends... i think this is going to be a grower and adds to her legacy.

Jun 14, 2019Pop masterpiece! ***** Best album since Confesssions! God Control, I Don’t Search I Find and Medellin faves
-
Jun 14, 2019Great album! She took the risk and made some of the best of pop around nowadays. Highly recommend listen to God’s Control, Dark Ballet and Crazy.

Jun 14, 2019Simplesmente TUDOO, como nunca decepcionou, não seria agora que faria. Obrigado por tudo Madonna

Jun 14, 2019Easily Madonna's best album of the last decade. Original, daring and flat-out brilliant.
-
Jun 14, 2019Stunning!
Welcome back Madonna!
Such a perfect album with new sounds, deep impact! -
Jun 14, 2019Finally after 13 years, her own style and sound. From Lisbon to Cape Verde, from Cape Verde to Rio and then to Medellin, Jamaica to land in NY. What a musical trip.

Jun 14, 2019One of Madonna's most original, raw and inside albums. You can only love it, or hate it, it's hard to just like it. She's proven once again she's the queen of all the pop queens, completely careless about the ratings and critics, she's just out there doing her thing. I really really loved it!

Jun 14, 2019Diverse, Very experimental, Sounds like nothing you’ve heard before, Production is on point and the writing is touching and moving, Sometimes dark, An exceptional piece of work
-
Jun 14, 2019Her masterpiece for this generation. The labor of love of an artist committed to her vision and to give a voice to all of people that don’t have one. Proud fan and as a pop music lover, I just have to say this album raised the bar to the sky for the current pop acts!
-
Jun 14, 2019Best Madonna album since Ray Of Light! That's exactly what people expects and wants from the queen of pop.

Jun 14, 2019she is very relevant again... a very not commercial and strange album

MojoJun 25, 2019The pace plods on some mid-tempo tracks, but overall this is a personal, politically-charged mix of dark thoughts and good vibes. [Aug 2019, p.88]
-
Jun 21, 2019Overall, Madonna’s fourteenth album Madame X feels as if Mirwais had mostly completed a decent run-of-the-mill modern pop record, albeit with a cool hotch-potch global feel; hip nods in place to fado, dub and other micro-genres dunked amongst the trap and retro disco. But then just before sign-off, Herself went through the top-lines with a sharpie. ... None of these carefully curated flourishes feel as if they truly live inside the ‘whole’ of this music. Instead it all feels plonked on top of a template.

Jun 19, 2019Madonna has created this music for an audience of one: Herself. Often it works. Sometimes it doesn’t.
