    One has to admire that after 14 studio albums and unprecedented success throughout her entire career, Madonna still refuses to rest on her laurels! Madame X is brilliant, breathtaking and ballsy!!! Favourite tracks (currently) are Killers Who Are Partying, Extreme Occident and of course God Control.

    Madame X consegue se transformar a cada segundo de cada música. Conseguimos ouvir Flash’s do passado e de repente algo que nunca ouvimos antes nos surpreende, renovando, como sempre o prazer de apreciar a rainha do pop. Uma verdadeira experiência musical a cada faixa.

    Almost a world music album, cohesive, surprising and wildly fun, great album, the best is on the no singles, God Control, Killers, Batuka, Extreme, I don't search, Looking for mercy, amazing material, and have guilty pleasures like Faz Gostoso and **** Im Loca to clean the floor with your ass dancing

    Amazing album! Madonna is so creative and gave to us a pop album in a very good quality that no other pop artist can do. We listen to so many similar pop songs nowadays, but Madonna does what nobody can do: she puts art and creative on her music. One of her best 3 album for sure!!

    This album is a masterpiece. A world class album, multicultural trip. You will travel by listening to this. Compared to previous Madonna albums this one will make you feel something, it will make you think about you, the others, the world, the universe. There is a strong story behind it. You can feel it. There is a true paradox in each song and you have to listen carefully : the lyrics, the music, the choir, her voice and how she plays with it, everything is here on purpose. These lyrics are also amazing, with a political dimension. Again, she is showing to every pop star on this planet what their role should be, what is the essence of music : convey powerful emotions and messages. It's not a commercial album, you cant expect a lot of sales from it and it won't be played on the radios... But travel through the years and stay as a true work of art. Madonna is on her throne and far above anybody else.… Expand

Proof that there is still hope for modern music, only if radio stations would put age aside and start promoting real music instead of the cheap un-inspired pop c-rap that they play 24/7. Madonna is still a lyrics genius that can blend modern rhythms with great classic composures and melodies, and her voiceA complete masterpiece for any taste.     She screwed up several times during past decade but now... she speaks her mind at least. Never the same. Original and brave album as close to art as Like a Prayer.

    I had to give this album a few listens to make up my mind. There are strange oddities in here that made me think about the score: Medellin is a headscratcher of a lead single, and Dark Ballet - a bit too experimental for my taste. But I still admire the creative force in both tracks. There are also oddities that do work, like God Control and Batuka. Then there are some lyrical moments thatI had to give this album a few listens to make up my mind. There are strange oddities in here that made me think about the score: Medellin is a headscratcher of a lead single, and Dark Ballet - a bit too experimental for my taste. But I still admire the creative force in both tracks. There are also oddities that do work, like God Control and Batuka. Then there are some lyrical moments that make me frown - especially in Extreme Occident and Killers Who Are Partying - but I can't deny the gorgeous melodies and instrumentation. And then there are a bunch of songs that are Madonna's best tracks in 20 years : I Don't Search I find, Crazy, Crave, Faz Gostoso are perfect pop tracks that deserve massive airplay. Because of this and the fact that it feels like a spontaneous intuitive record in an era of formulaic pop, and because it she is ahead of trends for the first time since 2000's Music - I have to give this a 10.     A for sure foray into the future, with help and insight from the past and present. It can be emotionally cold and chilling at times through the use of the various vocal effects, but when you do feel that way, it's definitely not unintentional. Madame X is like a trip inside an addicted society, it has highs, lows, recovery, and solutions. You will encounter a lot of unexpected, and to sayA for sure foray into the future, with help and insight from the past and present. It can be emotionally cold and chilling at times through the use of the various vocal effects, but when you do feel that way, it's definitely not unintentional. Madame X is like a trip inside an addicted society, it has highs, lows, recovery, and solutions. You will encounter a lot of unexpected, and to say the least unconventional musical arrangements within the album. As a personal note, my favorite work typically lies within the remix eps of the singles released after the album, and with Medellin, I Rise, and the soon to be released Crave remix Ep, I'm going be dancing, crying, and inspired for quite some time.… Expand

    Overall, Madonna’s fourteenth album Madame X feels as if Mirwais had mostly completed a decent run-of-the-mill modern pop record, albeit with a cool hotch-potch global feel; hip nods in place to fado, dub and other micro-genres dunked amongst the trap and retro disco. But then just before sign-off, Herself went through the top-lines with a sharpie. ... None of these carefully curated flourishes feel as if they truly live inside the ‘whole’ of this music. Instead it all feels plonked on top of a template.
