    Taylor Swift becomes a more mature, sweet, loving and pop artist. "Lover" is the proof that she can make a clean-fun Pop. Despite having an extensive tracklist, the album remains cohesive and true to Swift's style. Unique songs like "Cruel Summer", "The Archer", "False God" are the mark that she can also do something different. I fell in love, laughed, danced and smiled.

    Lover is a huge improvement from reputation (though not nearly as good as her older albums, like Fearless and Speak Now) but unfortunately it suffers from a lot of the songs sounding very similar. There were no absolute stinkers on the album, though some of the songs did not reach musical climaxes, something that could have made these songs better, such as The Archer and I Forgot That You Existed. Many of these songs have amazing lyrics, like You Need to Calm Down, but in these songs, the actual music wasn’t my favorite. That being said, while I am usually not a fan of electronic music, Swift uses synths and drum machines very uniquely and creatively, redeeming this music for me. Some of the tracks felt a little too reliant on this technology, though I greatly enjoyed a lot of the songs on the album. At first I felt a little overwhelmed by the electronic drums in The Man, but as I listened to it more and more, I became more fine with it (I listened to songs like Old Town Road in comparison and I still hate those drums, but I’m fine with the ones in The Man). Highlights: Lover, The Man, I Think He Knows, Paper Rings, Cornelia Street, Death by a Thousand Cuts, Soon You’ll Get Better, Afterglow, and ME!.    … Expand

    Worst album I've listened to this decade. Pretty dull and superficial. Cruel Summer is the best and still mediocre

    Taylor provided me with perfect love. The album has her compositions completely solo, and that already becomes differential and superior, the calm in her vocals and sonority is simply the best thing she has done in years as an artist. The perfect pop album comments.

    Beautiful and cohesive album with such well written songs. Taylor Swift is a talented musician who can write a catchy pop record as well as heartbreaking emotional songs. I don't know why some Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey fans are deliberately dropping bad reviews here. Perhaps they are trying to decrease it's user score which was the highest user score ever but these toxic fandomsBeautiful and cohesive album with such well written songs.     The most cohesive album of her yet since 1989. The thing about her is she never creates the same material for each of her albums. And also this album is filled with wonderful lyricism and meaningful messages.

    Amazing album! It's great produced and has some pretty enchanting lyrics. Taylor is showing us that now she is more mature and still very talented after years of career. The topics she talks about, like politics and sexism, are such good ways to aware people of what's happening nowadays!

Taylor knows what to do no matter what kind of music she tries to sings. And for her fans, is very sweet and a indescribable feeling the bridge of Daylight, that she talks about the equality, politics, the male chauvinism in the Industry and Sppm you'll get better.
