To be honest this is one of the best albums so far this year and this let me know that she is one of best songwriters of all time!

This is Taylor's worst album, unfortunately the singer has brought a horrible job with poor quality songs, and always bring the same theme on all albums talking about her ex boyfriends, Taylor please stop this horrible.

Album went no where. It’s just repeat of the same old same old. I loved I forgot that you existed and that’s how I feel about this album.

Just having noticed this was her most critically-acclaimed album to date, I gave it a listen and was appalled at the rating. She is in her 30s, a grown woman, and was more mature at age 15.

The lyrics are embarrassing and tone-deaf; she waited over a decade to make any kind of sociopolitical statement (or any statement at all, in fact, that wasn’t directly pertaining to her being victimized and purportedly wronged by the public, other famous women and her string of exes alike), and her contribution? “YOU NEED TO CAAAALM DOWN, YOU'RE BEING TOOOO LOUD.” If only
Taylor took her own highly patronizing advice and shut her offkey mouth.

And, unsurprisingly, the lead single, “Me!” is another juvenile egocentric embarrassment, as observed via the title alone. There’s a very good reason she stopped winning Grammys as of her two most recent records; the whining child persona is not charming, and content remains as dull as Swift herself. Her only saving grace thus far has been decent lyrics, so given she is perpetually 30 going on 13, it appears her expiration date has finally arrived.

it's repetitive, very few creativity, no talent at all. I'll never understand why she has become so famous.

Another solid album from Taylor but doesn't quite match up to Reputation in my opinion. The man however may be my favorite Taylor Swift song of all time.

não tem falhas, o álbum é perfeito. AOTY moral e quem disser o contrário é homofóbico.

"Lover" is solid Taylor Swift pop. Pretty, emotional, and intoxicatingly cathcy. Cut out 3 or 4 filler tracks and it would surely be a 10.

It's incredible how Taylor can still write powerful songs about everything that goes on in her life and keeping it enjoyable like pop anthems.
Lover is a great album with very good songs. "Lover", "It's Nice to Have a Friend", "Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince", "The Man", "London Boy" and "Paper Rings" are great songs and have the "single" needing.
One of the best albums of 2019

One of the best albums of 2019 so far.. and the best one by a pop artist.

If it was a 13-track album then it would've been phenomenal. Most of them are great but not iconic compared to 1989.

This work is so beautiful and so unique. She demonstrates love, equality and freedom. Wonderful. Worthy of such an amazing and talented person as Taylor. Thank you for this beautiful art and for lighten parts of the heart that no one can't lighten like you.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. “Lover” is definitely another breakthrough for Taylor Swift in the 13th year of her career.
In “Lover”, Swift has obliviously explored her lyrics from her love stories that has inspired and moved a lot of young teenagers, to using her influence in her lyrics on reflecting social problems. In the track “The Man”, she has clearly sung out how she was discriminated as a woman, by comparing herself with Leonardo DiCaprio, when it comes to partners, fame, and money. Another track “You Need To Calm Down”, she calls out to homophobia.

It is beautifully produced and with rhythms that show her sounds from her beginnings until now accompanied with the lyrics that some are her growth experience and other her past and sometimes childish Wich is good for all ages, we all can relate with many of the songs.

Downgrade from reputation to me. I mean it's cute and all but not something special at all.. too bad. 1989 is by far her best album followed by reputation but this was one of her weaker one's. Best track: Lover

Cobra virando borboletas é o que mostra o clipe de ME! que se enxaixa perfeitamente com o que acontece com Taylor após a era REPUTATION. Lover é doce, bonito e triste.

With mind-numbingly inoffensive highs and condescendingly childish lows, Lover is a long, seemingly pointless endeavour into thematically light but murkily familiar territory, making for a remarkable step down even after the underwhelmingly shallow reputation.
    Favourite track: The Archer
Worst tracks: ME!, I Forgot That You Existed, You Need To Calm Down, London Boy

It’s an album that screams out for an editor, but when it hits the right notes, it demonstrates just why Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

Ultimately, Lover is overstuffed and meandering, but serves as a positive reprieve from her past struggles in the public eye, and represents an artist at the peak of her creativity, power, and—one hopes—continued romantic bliss.

Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
