    This is such a unique sound. With all pop songs sounding the same these days this album isn’t that. It’s different from all the rest, but in a really good way! This is one of Taylor’s best albums if not the best out of all of them!

    Lover is by far taylor swift best album to date it's refreshing and it's sound brand new, with Daylight and Cruel Summer as the highlight of the album, it's deserve yet cohesive, she finally found her serenity and her words in Lover it's so wise and very carefully written and there's a confidence even in the most depressing song

    This album has succesfully made me happy. Lover is that kind of album you go to whenever you're having a bad day and in need of a boost. Definitely this is one of her best work. Every songs sound special and Taylor never fails in telling stories so beautifully. Overall, I adore this album and I feel the need to share it to everyone I know.

    I have listened to Taylor Swift’s most recent body of work titled “Lover” multiple times now. It is release day and I stayed up very late to hear the album. Miss Swift always serves a good album. She has never disappointed. Going into lover I expected to LOVE it but I didn’t expect it to become my favorite album. My (now previous) favorite album of all time is by Taylor. Red is a musicalI have listened to Taylor Swift’s most recent body of work titled “Lover” multiple times now. It is release day and I stayed up very late to hear the album. Miss Swift always serves a good album. She has never disappointed. Going into lover I expected to LOVE it but I didn’t expect it to become my favorite album. My (now previous) favorite album of all time is by Taylor. Red is a musical masterpiece with so many layers that I thought could never be topped but here we are with Lover. The album starts with a fun, summery, smart, shady... but also not shady track called “I Forgot You Existed”. Swift’s previous album reputation was very dark and hard hitting. I Forgot You Existed was the perfect track to start the album. It remind me of the subtle shade we had on reputation with the fun tones that are present on Lover. I’m not going to directly mention every song but tracks two and three need to be discussed. Track two is a BANGER called “Cruel Summer”. It has a killer chorus and a killer bridge. It’s production is like being slapped in the face by your favorite celebrity (that’s a good thing, like I would pay Taylor to slap me). Track three is a genius track called “The Man” where Swift talks about how she would be treated/seen in the industry/media if she was a male, not a female. It has such smart lyrics and a hard hitting bridge. The production is fun and reputation like. Soon You’ll Get Better, The Archer, and Lover are beautiful ballads. Swift shines on upbeat bops like Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince, London Boy, I Think He Knows, and more. A song that really stood out to me is Paper Rings. It has an indie rock vibe that I am obsessed with. Cornelia Street is Delicate’s (a single from Reputation) cousin. It has sweet, beautiful, and just pure pop perfection. False God is so smooth and just divine. Afterglow is a rush of pop magic. That is the only way I can describe it. You Need To Calm Down, one of the pre-release singles, showed Taylor speak up on things she cared about. It is such a fun song. But the meaning is so important. Taylor ends the album with a song called Daylight. Daylight is the perfect album closer. It is sweet, magical, and features a speaking part at the end to close the album that came from liner notes in her Red album. Listening to Lover is an EXPERIENCE. I have never heard an album like this. It’s pure pop perfection. It deserves a 10/10. Taylor really knows how to serve a great album. This album further solidifies Taylor as the modern queen of pop, no other girlie does it like her. Bravo. Just wow. Perfection.… Expand

    Amazing album! It's great produced and has some pretty enchanting lyrics. Taylor is showing us that now she is more mature and still very talented after years of career. The topics she talks about, like politics and sexism, are such good ways to aware people of what's happening nowadays!

    The much expected sound from Taylor Swift but her sound seems much more liberative and you can actually sing her a lot dissimilar to her last album, reputation. The tunes are mostly pleasant and are throwback to the 80s with lyrics which are as good if not better than those on reputation, the album is quite happy and positive except a few songs.

    Give Taylor her third Grammys for Album of the Year! Taylor is back to her country roots on the romantic title track "Lover" and a heartbreakingly beautiful song "Soon You'll Get Better" about her mother battling cancer.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's kind of cliché to to say this, but it's not even slightly exaggerated to say that this album is exactly what Pop as an industry needed, she single handedly saved the music industry.
    It's a very know fact that Taylor is an amazing songwriter. The way she can put her life lessons into words so beautifully, that the person listening to her music feels teleported into her world and can see the story unfolds right in front of their eyes, is a talent that only a few artists have.
    This is hands down not only 'her' best album but it is 'the' best album of this century if not ever.
    The best thing about this album, is that it cannot be described as one thing only, like some of her previous works.
    This album is mature yet still playful, strong yet still vulnerable, she know what she's doing but she's still experimenting. She captured that perfect essence of love that even some great poets failed to capture. Furthermore you have to give her credits for making a song about 'The Guardian', proving how this industry is full of misogynistic men who can't see a woman in power on her song 'The man'.
    When they couldn't find a single thing to criticize this perfect album, according to them this album has a "problem" because "it's too long".
    Well apparently being an hour long album is an issue for them only if it's from a female artist, because they were very pleased with Drake's album 'Views despite it being longer than Taylor's.

    Lover is an emotional rollercoaster that nobody would've ever thought they needed. The album contains very sharp lyrics with a vulnerability that makes it so nice and especial, Lover is Taylor's best album right along with RED, and it's also this year's best pop album, that's a fact.

    All the song are very catchy. But I think that Miss Americana and The heartbreak prince should havereleased as the lead single from the album. As it has that blank space kind of vibe. Otherwise, the album is so perfect.

    The Lover album by Taylor Swift is one of her worst, the production kinda sucks, the lyrics are kinda childish, and i swear a couple songs sound the same. I will say this The Man, The Archer, MS&THP , Cornelia Street And London Boy are good songs.

    Em seu sétimo álbum, Taylor prova que é uma compositora nata, com músicas com "The Man" e "False God". Lover nada mais é do que seu trabalho mais livre, livre da culpa, do medo, da acusação, apenas amor, família e seus fãs. Arrisco dizer que esse venha a ser o seu melhor álbum pop, mas primeiro temos de ver como ele irá envelhecer. Apenas fantástico

    An album sonically cohesive, with absolutely no skips. They way it talks about love not only in its romantic form but also in pain, breakup, fear. It's beautiful, one of her best works.

    Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
