    Álbum mais linear da Taylor. Tem sim seus pontos positivos e tudo mais, porém boa parte de suas faixas são completamente descartáveis e parecem ser requentadas do 1989. Obviamente, muito melhor que o reputation (aliás, qual álbum não é superior a esse?). Lover tem músicas parecidas e sem nenhum impacto e também músicas que não passam a proposta do álbum que era para ser uma dura críticaÁlbum mais linear da Taylor. Tem sim seus pontos positivos e tudo mais, porém boa parte de suas faixas são completamente descartáveis e parecem ser requentadas do 1989. Obviamente, muito melhor que o reputation (aliás, qual álbum não é superior a esse?). Lover tem músicas parecidas e sem nenhum impacto e também músicas que não passam a proposta do álbum que era para ser uma dura crítica sobre os seus altos e baixos e sobre o universo perverso da internet. Nesse Álbum Taylor Swift aposta também em um indie grotesco e com letras repetitivas... Umas faixas até impossíveis de ouvir depois de 2 minutos completos. Para um álbum que ia ressuscitar o seu country sofisticado e com letras complexas, Lover é apenas um passatempo para alguém que quer limpar a casa e ouvir algo.… Expand

    Surprisingly, I really liked the content of this album, and the concept follows through the beginning till the end. It's also cohesive and lyrically good.
    I'd dare to say this is one of her best works.

    Lover is like a pink path, full of both happy and sad moments where you find love. Having 18 songs in my opinion is a great alternative, because that allows us to build a love story with everyone, friends, their mother, haters and swifties. She’s the best at creating a concept for an album. The title “Lover” is perfect. She describes love in every possible way: love for you true love, love for a past relationship, love for your mother and family, love for your friend, love for you country and love for yourself. In conclusion I would like to add that she wrote the best song of her entire career: Daylight. Please listen to it all. This is THE ALBUM OF THE YEAR.     It's nice to see Taylor back to make fun upbeat songs again after have no idea how to execute edginess in music correctly on mediocre Reputation album. While it's a definite pop album, there a few tracks here that should pleases her fans who missed country music from her.

    Favorite tracks: The Archer, Lover, and Cornellia Street.

    This album is almost perfect. From start to finish, it offers head-banging beats, vivid lyricism, and a medley of discussed issues. Singles ME and YNTCD do not do this album justice. In fact, ME is the only song that is somewhat “skippable” on this 18 track album. It truly is impeccable. I recommend Cornelia St, The Man, and False God with the highest regard.

    Lover is indeed about love and its complexity, chaotic, cuteness and everything. Each track is very different from one another. Taylor Swift, known for her writing skill, describe the love explicitly define all its form. 18 songs feel so short yet complete. Cornelia Street, Afterglow and Daylight is a must listen from the album.

    This album is just not it. I have become a fan of taylor swift after she released 1989, and I also absolutely loved reputation. This album has a lot of repetitive beats and melodies and very weak lyrics compared to taylor’s songwriting talent. A very disappointing work of art. Would not recommend at all.

She takes responsibility for things, looking at the ups and downs of the past years of her life while also remaining authentically Taylor Swift with the shade we love. Songs like Cruel Summer, The Man and Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince are the driving force of the album, however, some songs are almost too sugary sweet and can only be listened to a few times before you're tired of it like London Boy and You Need To Calm Down.

    Overall, it is a good album with strong lyricism, relatability and positive light. It would have received a higher score if there was just a touch more honesty and less of a view with rose coloured glasses.    … Expand

    Lover is ultimately a 1989 with the lyricism of Speak Now and the emotional complexity of RED. The lyrics are so incredible that you will listen to them again and again. My favorite tracks on this album are Cruel Summer, Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince, Paper Rings, Cornelia Street, Lover, Soon You Will Get Better, and The Archer.     Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
