    A really great album. She covers all the bases and experiments with new subject matter and different sounds. I am a sucker for the sax in the False God. I enjoyed the growl in cruel summer. Soon you’ll get better made me sad. My favorite songs are Cornelia Street, Afterglow and False God.

    It's one of her best albums yet! Every song is so beautiful and the lyrics are amazing. Production of the album is as good as always. It's full of metaphors and references. It has songs dealing with homophobia, sexism and hate. Overall the album is a masterpiece

    This is the AOTY and deserves the world. There are no skips, every song is perfect in it's own way and there are so many bops! The way she composes, deliveres the lines and produces the tracks is so interesting and magical. No negative remarks - deserves even more than 10/10!

    This album is a masterpiece that represents love in all its forms. Album of the year, without a doubt. For someone who’s not a fan therefore haven’t listened but are curious, I’d recommend ‘Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince’, ‘Cruel Summer’, ‘Afterglow’ and ‘The Man’.

    What I like about this album is that you can feel it. You can grasp what she's trying to convey without spoonfeeding because she takes us on a rollercoaster ride of words with her lyrics. This album is the golden epitome of that.

    This album has no skips to me. The songs are all well written, and we're honestly so lucky to get 18 tracks on one album. Some songs are about 2 minutes avoiding the misconception that all if the songs would be long therefore making the overall album super long.

    Album of the Year!! There are 18 song in it and all 18 are wonderful. Only Taylor could put together that many great songs in only one album. My favorites are Cruel Summer, Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince, The Man and Death by a Thousand Cuts.

    This is even worse than Reputation, which is honestly quite an achievement. There really are no songs that I liked. Some are decent, but most of this album is just garbage, and the fact that it's 18 tracks just makes it even more exhausting.

    Musically, there's nothing even slightly adventurous or creative here. Everything is just by-the-numbers pop music. The songs also lack cohesion. Me!, You Need to Calm Down, and Paper Rings are perfect examples of this.

    Unfortunately, all of the album's songs sound the same. I can find no artistic growth or variety on her recent albums since they all have the same pop sound (her other album, Reputation, included some surprising -for her style- songs, but that was it).
    The only song I find interesting is miss Americana & the heartbreak prince.

    Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
