    Taylor continues to innovate in her country-pop crossover. To me, 'Lover' is better than '1989'. Definitely one of the best Swift records. The lead single doesn't seem to blend in w/ the whole album. Taylor proves that she is still pure gold without any Max Martin productions.

Out of the 18 songs I can say that, cruel summer, London boy, Cornelia street, daylight, the archer, lover, soon you'll get better, and afterglow are the best tunes on the album.     Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
