Facilmente top 3 melhores álbuns do século.

Creative, bold, cohesive, innovative. Visually I would give the album a 10, but I took off a point from all the spoken word interludes that could have been avoided. Although the album took 72 writers/producers and Beyonce acted more along the lines of a Musical Director - it still produced some of the most interesting music of the year. The production is top notch crisp and to the point.

He only want me when I'm not there / He better call Becky with the good hair.” (''Sorry'').

Destaques: Hold Up, Don't Hurt Yourself, Sorry e Daddy Lessions.

Lemonade is a genre bending album that tells the struggle of a relationship dealing with infidelity, from grief to anger and reconciliation this album does something very few are able to do... tell a story.

I've always thought that Beyonce was one of the most overrated artists of all-time. I never saw what was so great about her cliche beats and lyrics, especially on her last self titled album. Lemonade hits with visceral force, stemming from her celebrity status as an icon and the brutal truth that she is a pained human being. With that said, her latest effort is nearly perfect, blending atmospheric melodies with heartbreaking lyrics. This will surely go down in the history books.

What an album. Watching the HBO special and listening to it in succession makes you realize how brilliant Beyonce is at getting us to listen to her music how it's meant to be. The music itself is as experimental as anything she's ever done, and she pretty much nails it. You can clearly note a succession of emotions as the album progresses, going from the first angry songs to the latter joyous/less hard hitting ones. The highlight has got to be Freedom where she sounds as powerful as ever, and the Kendrick guest spot doesn't disappoint. Surely another album that will get thousands talking, and probably one that will be remembered for a long time to come. Expand

'Lemonade' shows us a vulnerable and honest side of Beyoncé that fans and critics have never seen before. With this new album, Bey invites us into her personal life and lets us see what's behind the curtains. Not only do we get to see a different side of her lyrically, but also musically, with her exploring new music genres such as folk country in Daddy Lessons and Soul in Freedom. Overall this was a total success! The fact that there is a movie for this album as well, showing the visual aspect of the songs, shows how much artistic integrity she has. With this insanely creative album, Beyoncé has put herself in the same lane as Madonna: controversial and shocking, but still classy and iconic.

I can't understand why some people are saying this album is boring, yes it's different, but the way the album progresses and transforms is absolutely liberating listening to. A word of advice for people who say it's boring: Try and really listen to the words and see the story it tells.

this album is undoubtedly beyoncé's magnum opus... it's so well done, i really cannot put it into words. from top to toe it's hard to find a single flaw, except for the fact that she added «Sorry - Original Demo», a filler, in my opinion, instead of crafting an outro that would close as perfectly as «Pray You Catch Me» opens the album.

the absolute climax of the album, both musically and symbolically, is reached during «All Night» - a song so powerful that it feels literally unreachable. while throughout the whole album, beyoncé's vocal strength is evident on this perfectly produced LP with a fascinating story-line, carried by remarkable lyrics and even accompanied by an exceptional visual album.

fav songs: pray you catch me; hold up; love drought; all night
least fav: sorry - original demo

Many people giving this album 0 are very delusional and biased, listen with open ears and mind. Yes the songs in this album are not fit for pop mainstream radio but the instrumentation and vocals are pristine and polished. The country song "Daddy lessons" completely took me by surprise and showed that Beyonce can go outside her comfort zone, somehow this song worked well in this album. When talking about Beyonce, Prince once said that she would meet full musical peak if she learned piano. She shows that talent off here with the emotional "Sandcastles". The visual components of LEMONADE should all be praised, as all could sweep the VMAs in essentially every category if the award show actually had significant merit.

Beyond that, Beyonce's voice-overs provide an artistic and emotional depth that has yet to be matched by modern artists.

In contrast to Self-Titled, which came off as Beyonce trying hard to pretend that she isn't a try-hard (see: Haunted's "probably won't make no money off this" knowing damn well she would make money), LEMONADE is Beyonce at her most honest, open, and emotional. She defies genre and defies expectation as she pushes a body of work that is worthy of all the acclaim she has received. Art takes effort, and Beyonce has produced a masterpiece here.

Deram limões a Beyoncé?
