Controversial album but by far the best representation of the type of things we don’t always talk about here in the United States. The music is a life changer! Highly recommend to everyone

Honestly an exemplary album, dealing with a plethora of important cultural, political, social and historical issues surrounding inter-generational trauma, the black household and family dynamic; infidelity, police brutality as well as countless others. Beyoncé is at her most potent artistically, exploring herself and these concepts both musically and visually. A truly unique and unprecedented masterpiece. Expand

This album redefined what an album is for me. Every song is so complex and different, from rock to country yet they all tie together to tell one beautiful story of Beyoncé’s own personal struggle. What makes this album genius is the way Beyoncé uses her story and experience to tell a wider story of Black woman and African Americans history, struggle and beauty. Masterpiece, Beyoncé managed to create true art that helps today’s generation confront the issues from the past from the effects slavery has in black love and how we interpret it.

This album shut the mouths of the cynics, of the ones who still had doubts about Bey's ability to create art, move the world, push the envelope and break more barriers. Emotionally extreme, fiery, bold and ambitious, Lemonade is another one of her cultural resets and sets itself as unforgettable. Beyoncé is a living legend and has nothing to prove. Expand

This is her magnum opus. A masterpiece. Arguably the best album of this century yet. Its so sad to see these trolls downvote this album and rate it 0 just to make its ratings lower and so their fave's ratings appear higher. Some of yall can't stand the fact that a black woman created one of the best albums of all time and its so visible.
