    Lady Gaga reinvent her music yet again as she takes on a country-pop-rock-esque sound on 'Joanne'. With album highlights 'A-YO', 'John Wayne', 'Million Reasons', and 'Come to Mama', Gaga hits another album show a la Born This Way, making an Album of the Year Grammy nomination possible. Her vocals in 'Joanne' are the best yet; the album's been on repeat for days. It's a masterpiece.

Joanne, her latest body of work, has opened me up to not only "pop", but to an entire domain of music that Gaga reigns over and makes her own.     Gaga really showed her talent as a lyricist in this record, more than in any other of her previous ones in my opinion. The songs also sound raw, in a sense where you can really hear her voice. I feel like it's one of the best albums I got to listen to in 2016.     Joanne is Lady Gaga's freedom. She got a fame on POP and now, she is doin' what she wants. This album is her best! Welcome back new Lady Gaga. Its been a long time and promise you will get it what you deserved

    A great album. Lady Gaga just keeps getting better and better. I love the fact you can dance, cry and chill all at once with this album. It's a lovely mix of dance, soft rock and country pop. Love it!

    Joanne is a really different sound for gaga. She evolved as an artist. The standout tracks are definitely dancing in circle, diamond hearts, AYO and John Wayne. Way to go gaga

    5. Dancin in Circles

    For you fans nostalgic for 2009, Dancin in Circles was made for you. Little sister of LoveGame for its sexual tone and of Alejandro for its latino atmosphere, Dancin in Circles is an infernal track that will keep you awake until the early hours on the dancefloor... or in bed touching yourself. Even though Dancin in Circles seems to be related to Gaga's former big hits, Stefani's musical and artistic evolution is undeniably noticeable. Either for its hybrid genre of pop, house and country, or for the raw, fierce vocals she is serving, we recognize Stefani's artistic growth. The message is clear: she is back in a better place than never before!

    4. Come To Mama

    This song is one of the most surprising tracks on Joanne. Come to Mama is a song with jazz and country sonorities that unexpectedly fills your soul with satisfaction and joy. The lyrics are simple and repetitive but relatable, the instrumental track is authentic, reminding us of a time of innocence and simplicity we may not even have been witness of. Come To Mama is a song that showcases Gaga's ability for making great still humble songs. We can see the undeniable impact her Grammy-winning jazz album Cheek to Cheek has had upon her art.

    3. John Wayne

    John Wayne is a furious, transcendent rock song with a crazy, psychotic EDM-like chorus. With John Wayne, Gaga introduces us to the wildest part of her new alter ego Joanne. The song tells Gaga's love story with a bad boy called John Wayne. You may wonder why John Wayne sounds surprisingly similar to the album title track Joanne, at least I do!

    2. Million Reasons

    This song may be the most emotional ballad Stefani has ever released next to Dope or Til It Happens To You. With Million Reasons, Lady Gaga is no longer afraid to show us her most vulnerable self. It is hard to keep oneself from crying when her raw, cracking voice screams and begs for "another reason to stay." The line "But Baby I'm bleeding, bleeding" may be one of the most heartbreaking in Gaga's whole ballads catalogue. Hillary Lindsey's backing vocals are the cherry on top of the cake. In a nutshell, Million Reasons may be Gaga's most moving, earnest and relatable songs she has ever released on an album.

    1. Angel Down

    Angel Down is the title of the wonderful, heavenly, poignant yet tragic song that ends the musical experience of the album. Originally produced by RedOne and finished by Mark Ronson, Angel Down showcases what three music geniuses are capable of when talents are reunited. With Angel Down, Gaga brings us up high in Heaven to tell us a woeful story about humanity. The minimalistic instrumental track and Stefani's melancholic, pure vocals lead us somewhere in outer space to make us think about our human experience. The Work-Tape Deluxe version of the song is the actual demo on which Gaga frees her more chaotic self to express her most inner pains.

    Fan of Lady gaga since The Fame Monster, I gotta admit that Artpop was not her best album but Joanne .... OMG
    This is so great and so beautiful
    You realize how Gaga's voice is awesome!!!
    When you listen to this album, you're transported in Texas around a camp fire or in a bar in the US
    It's more than a simple musical journey

    The most intimate album of her, it feels like you're meeting the real and vulnerable Stefani. It has a good dose of emotions (see Joanne, Million Reasons, Angel Down), energy (A-YO, Perfect Illusion, John Wayne), poppiness (Diamond Heart, Dancin' In Circles) and other original moments (Hey Girl, Sinner's Prayer, Come To Mama). It can grant a cathartic experience, if you let it pour into your soul.

This album is an ode to her later aunt, Joanne, whom Gaga believes would've wanted to spread messages of love, compassion, and self-care to the world if she were to be alive today. She does all that with this album and still manages to keep every song memorable, catchy, and plain gorgeous. I will for sure purchase a vinyl copy once it's available for those days when I want to relax and sing-along with my close friends. This is Gaga like we've never seen or heard her before, with no hard to understand lyrics or outfits. It's Gaga wanting to reflect her desired world in her music: easy, loving, and deep. I have been her fan since The Fame and I can tell you that it's refreshing to see an artist be capable of successfully reinventing herself and her sound. This album does not resemble her previous hits like Just Dance and Poker Face, but it does remind me of her less popular ballads. This is music that the world needs right now and will soon come to appreciate.     Álbum personal acertado en la carrera de Gaga demostrando aun con mas puntos a su favor que puede dominar cualquier tipo de géneros que se le ocurran , buen equipo de trabajo con el que relativamente nos muestran canciones creativas y baladas de de calidad .

    She's back again to change the whole game. And I'm not talking about Gaga, this is Stefani. Welcome Joanne. This is a crude and powerful, unique, out of the heart, pop-rock-country-indie album. There's no bad romance this time, don't expect that. It's even better. And it's not an illusion.

    well i love pop music so much and i listen singesr like sia adele beyonce and etc. But JOANNE by lady gaga is one of the best albums i have ever listened. I mean all songs from this is so beautiful and makes me dance and cry same time. Well done stefani you did this!

She can sing, she can write, she can produce and Joanne proves those skills. The album has deep, emotional, inspiring and honest songs, like the title track for example. There are a lot of great moments on the LP, you can tell them by listening to "Hey Girl" ft.Lady Gaga is such a huge talented artist that embraces her passion for music and her hability to create magic inside the studio.     Simplesmente um incrível trabalho da Lady Gaga. Neste álbum ela mostrou porque é a maior artista da atualidade. Possui vocais maravilhosos e se reinventa a cada faixa. Uma linda mistura de country, pop, rock, pop latino, balada, entre outros. E é capaz de unir pessoas com diverentes gostos musicais. É incrível como Lady Gaga consegue inovar o cenário musical a cada álbum

    Heartfelt raw cohesive record. Lady Gaga is one of the few pop stars of her generation who really puts her heart and soul into her music. Polarizing and sometimes underrated she's the one with the talent, and Joanne proves that.

    Unfortunately, therein lies the biggest problem with Joanne: for every time that Gaga seemingly breaks free of her shackles and embraces something more “real,” she quickly scuttles back into her comfort zone and hides behind glistening production. This probably isn’t quite the sound of the real Stefani Germanotta, but if you squint hard enough there’s a semblance of a real person in amongst the pop haze.
