    J-Hope shows everyone how talented he is as part of a group and on his own. The concept of the album, the sound of it, the lyrics all incredibly interesting. I´m so happy he decided to show this other part of himself. Congratulations to him for nailing his first solo album.

    I've enjoyed previous music by this artist and was looking forward to Jack In The Box. The first single surprised me; didn't know what to expect. The Album deserves to be listened to in order, as it tells a complete tale, with a foundation of hip hop but dashes of various other musical influences. I enjoyed the flow from Safety Zone to Future very much. Have to confess, though, that myI've enjoyed previous music by this artist and was looking forward to Jack In The Box. The first single surprised me; didn't know what to expect. The Album deserves to be listened to in order, as it tells a complete tale, with a foundation of hip hop but dashes of various other musical influences. I enjoyed the flow from Safety Zone to Future very much. Have to confess, though, that my favorite is shaping up to be =. At 21 minutes I found it a bit short. Other than that petty complaint, this album is all a concept record should be: cohesive, incisive and eminently entertaining.… Expand

    Incredible album!! It feels like I'm meeting JHope for the first time! He really showed new colors in this album while at the same time bringing back elements from old hip hop that he used in previous songs. My favorite songs are = (Equal Sign) and STOP.

    Brilliant as expected. We get to see a very different and almost raw side of Hobi. It feels like a privilege to be able to hear this album, in it's full glory. I've had no doubt that he'd nail it, but nevertheless, I'm very impressed. Thank you for this album Hoseok. It's a masterpiece and we're so proud of you. 10/10

    The coolest album I have ever heard!! Must give it a listen!! Hip-hop lovers would love this album. This album starts with a story about hope being the last to stuck inside the Pandora's box.

Here, J-Hope really experimented with music styles he hadn't used much before... it's a perfect insight into the person Jung Hoseok and the artist J-Hope. While the music itself is really immaculate, the lyrics of this album also are beautiful - the title tracks are full of his passion and ambition, about his love for his artistry and the ways he has matured and been influenced throughout his musical journey till now, but also about the inevitable darkness that comes with his line of work and how he embraces it...but as you keep listening to the album, you will find out that while the main character is definitely J-Hope, there are also a lot of words that are actually very relatable to life and people in general, but not in a way that makes you feel down...rather it's the opposite, it's actually really comforting - the way he tells his story, speaks his thoughts out makes the listener feel warm and comforted... Each one of the tracks has been created so so wonderfully...the unfolding of his person being done flawlessly and with a beautiful wrap-up!!! This album is a world in itself - a world of Jung Hoseok and J-Hope and we are fortunate enough to be spectators of it... all-in-all, this album is beautiful and J-Hope is a genius for this!!!     Este álbum 'Jack in the Box' es sin duda el más grandioso trabajo de J-Hope, la forma en que rompe totalmente su molde y no teme incursionar en nuevos géneros es sorprendente. Y la forma en que logra fusionar ritmos es espectacular, sin duda un Artista completo que busca crecer y romper los estereotipos a través de su música.
    El álbum completo es un deleite y si se toman el tiempo de    Este álbum 'Jack in the Box' es sin duda el más grandioso trabajo de J-Hope, la forma en que rompe totalmente su molde y no teme incursionar en nuevos géneros es sorprendente. Y la forma en que logra fusionar ritmos es espectacular, sin duda un Artista completo que busca crecer y romper los estereotipos a través de su música.

    Jack in the box is honestly, like tasting a main course from a five-star restaurant chef. It shows the skills and also the maturation of j-hope through the years. Ending on a bright cheery song, as if that's is what clearly lies ahead. but no it ends with ARSON as to say two things. IM DONE, F*CK OFF, BURN IT. Or it's an amalgam of everything of what we feel about our future. It's precarious, as safe as dry kindling in a lightening storm THEJack in the BOX is a CONCEPT ALBUM with a very clear journey.     An incredible album from the street dancer turned rapper. The album flows seamlessly from one song to the next taking the listener on a journey through the artists mind. It is sonically different from jhope's first mixtape, but at the same time uses simar themes. The album is indeed very indicative of jhopes unique style and blend of dance and hiphop.

    J-hope showed his versatility and delivered something totally unexpected and genuine. He showed a darker and more vulnerable side of him, delivering deep lyrics and important topics about his life and career. The strong presence of hip hop also adds different colors to the album. Impeccable vocals and production take us through the story told by the rapper. An amazing experience.

    This álbum is just insane, that completely exceeded my expectations. It is a combination of incredible rhythms and lyrics, j-hope really tried hard and it was totally worth it, the best album of the year, i loved it so much. In addition to being a good dancer and rapper, his vocal ability is incredible.

    Truly is a masterpiece, every song is very well composed and written, the stories told in each song is incredible! Jung Hoseok really is the ace.

    Definitely one of the best albums I've heard in my life. I'm never disappointed by Jhope and once again he has proven to be one of the best artists existing right now. This album it's just perfect and I'm not saying that just because I'm a fan cause even if I wasn't I think I would be obsessed with this album the same way I'm obsessed with it right now. It's a masterpiece in every aspect!

    Jhope ... is amazing. This album shows his versatility and although its not a jhope we are used to seeing ...this album still sounds and feels so familiar that's it's like we knew this side of him all along. I love this "color" of Hobi, you can tell his soul is in this album. I love it

    Excellent album in which J-Hope shows a refreshing new side of him! Don’t forget to read the translated lyrics for a better understanding of his work, and wordplay. Truly one of the best artists of our generation right now. Keep up the good work, i’m looking forward to more future releases!

    J-Hopes album is one of the best I’ve ever heard. Though I may be biased as a huge bts fan, I started this album knowing it would be good but I never expected to have my body up and moving by the end. It’s a very diverse album though it only features ten tracks, yet there’s something for everybody in the album. If your unsure about listening to it, this is your sign to listen to the 23J-Hopes album is one of the best I’ve ever heard. Though I may be biased as a huge bts fan, I started this album knowing it would be good but I never expected to have my body up and moving by the end. It’s a very diverse album though it only features ten tracks, yet there’s something for everybody in the album.     Words are unable to describe how amazing this album is, his talent in making this masterpiece is inexplicable. Check the lyrics, pay close attention to his vocals and rap and you will understand why this album is a masterpiece.

    There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
