Apr 16, 2023Jack on the Box is fantastic!! I absolutely love the old school hip hop feel. The production, the beats, the rap flow and vocals are superb! If you’re feeling a bit nostalgic for the old school boom bap you are in for a treat. J-hope tells a story so listen beginning to end in order. Although its hard to pick a favorite, I cant get enough of Stop and Equal Sign back to back!

It shook me the first time I heard More and Arson is my go to song I literally can't get enough of that track it's on my daily playlist. J-Hope really floored me with this whole album from beginning to end.

Apr 16, 2023I still listen to this album daily and for me this is a no skip album. The only knock I have is that I want a few of those songs to last a little longer. The lyrics are deep and self reflective. The sound throughout the album is consistent with the level of respect j-hope has toward old school and golden age hip hop for inspiring his dance and his writing. Love it!!

Apr 16, 2023If I could rate this higher than 10. From the lyrics to the production, the story has been clearly told. His lyricism got the praise from an awarded lyricist in Korea. The flow from one song to another is smoother than a baby's skin :)
