MOULD have crafted a refreshing and muscular debut that chooses optimism over nihilism, realising it is the only way to live - you just have to be brave enough to make that choice.

If there’s a caveat, it’s that thirteen tracks is an ambitious ask for a debut, and the album occasionally sprawls where a tighter edit might have sharpened the peaks. But these feel like the growing pains of a band with too many good ideas rather than not enough.
  3. 70
Building on the ferocious promise of their previous EPs the band allows themselves more time and space to broaden their sonic vocabulary here.
