Mar 5, 2014I really enjoyed the funky sound of GIRL. I found it surprising that "Hunter" was not mentioned at all, seeing as how it was my personal favorite. I do agree that some songs seem to continue long after they should come to a close, but overall, viewing the album independently, I give it an 8. I feel as if a 67 is far under what Pharrell deserves here.

Mar 10, 2014A nice comeback album. It's pop wel crafted and well produced. Of course he's not reinventing something here, but it's way lot better than most crap on the pop radio nowadays. Pharrell still has it... My picks: Gush, Hunter, Happy, It Girl, Gust of Wind...

Mar 12, 2014Considering Pharrell didn't want to make this album it is a rather refreshing piece of work because of its obvious influences in disco, funk, and pop. If this is what Williams did to fill a contractual obligation, imagine how much more he could do!
With that said, it's a solid album with some great production work, and great songwriting. Certainly worth anyone's time. -

Oct 23, 2014A fun album that makes you get lost in the music with songs like Happy, It Girl, and Marlyn Monroe. Pharrel out did himself this is a really good album.

Mar 25, 2014G I R L is safe, universal, and unforgivably dull. It should be a huge hit.
