Her writing keeps on improving with every new album. The production is even more beautiful on this one than it was in folklore.

Along with "folklore",these are the albums that stand out differently that the others mainstream music. She writes about meaningful stories that open our minds and take us on a trip with extreme creativity, especially during this upsetting pandemic. This album allows us to compose ourselves in a silent piece of tranquility and continue to have faith in life because good music still exists.

I was scared of her future after folklore, but she managed to keep the level with a new vibe that it also feels just like folklore, just the perfect balance you would expect from a sister album

Even better than Folklore, while still having distinctions from its sister record. Standout tracks include No Body, No Crime ft. Haim and Evermore ft. Bon Iver. Aaron Dessner's key sound helps advance the "folklorian" nuances of Taylor's new mature sound. All the while, Jack Antonoff's production in Gold Rush lets listeners hold on to "the old Taylor".

evermore, folklore's sister, although being very similar to her last record, introduces us to a whole new world; or, in other words, it takes us back in time to obscure epochs. the middle-ages are a big influence on swift's record, maybe for the great plague or for the fear that reigned that era. what she birthed was a timeless record that took a picture of a time we'll never forget, evermore, folklore's sister, although being very similar to her last record, introduces us to a whole new world; or, in other words, it takes us back in time to obscure epochs. the middle-ages are a big influence on swift's record, maybe for the great plague or for the fear that reigned that era. what she birthed was a timeless record that took a picture of a time we'll never forget, making it almost universal and prophetical. thank you for a superb album, taylor.

my recommendations from evermore are: willow, gold rush, happiness.

I loved it! Maybe it is not something new because it is almost the same as Folklore but the rhythms of some songs come to mind the memories of some rhythms of "Lover" and that makes me remember when Tay was still at that time, now She already changed, and now this is the future, 2 very brilliant albums which had an effect on the industry and on my life!

I was worried at first that she was just putting out music for the sake of it but after listening I was floored. She carries the emotional maturity and lyrical genius of folklore into a more folksy and experimentative instrumental to bring a looser more carfree narrative, still as vulnerable and poetic. It is without question a wintering record, but out of this muted musical landscape songs of great and complex beauty emerge. [Mar 2021, p.34]

Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.

The pandemic seems to have freed her, given her the space to breathe, and has allowed her to produce her most elegant and sophisticated work to date.
