Amazing. She did it again. I did not think she would be able to top folklore, but she did it.

The production, lyricism, story-telling, and vibes of this album are unmatched. I thought it was impossible for Taylor Swift to outdo folklore - but she just did.

Sonically diverse and lyrically beautiful. Folklores younger, upbeat sister. The perfect follow up sister album to continue the storytelling genius that is folklore. Taylor guides you into the album with “Willow” a song that feels as if it belongs in the mediaeval times. It pulls you on an adventure of loss, love, murder and finding truth.

i’ll give it a eight because there are perfect songs like no body no crime, gold rush, willow, marjorie and champagne problems. Although duets in this album and some other songs like closure, long story short, this damn season and cowboy like me are not good enough for me. I think Taylor Swift could have worked more on this album instead of releasing it 5 months later she released folklore.

Amazing album. The lyrics are unmatchable. No one compares to her. Taylor Swift keeps proving that she's one of the best songwriters alive

Yet another Taylor Swift gem in the noise and deafening silence of 2020. Maybe not with the same impact that folklore had but with the same gut wrenching songwriting and even more experimentation.

It's beautiful, creative with heart-touching lyrics that will just have sit for a moment and close your eyes and lose yourself in the enchanted world of Swift. It's beautifully imaginative. It's not surprising, really. Taylor Swift always manages to do better than anything anyone expect.

I like the album so much. Truly it is the sister of "folklore." I very much like the lyrical composition, and it needs a lot of time to process the meaning and understanding of this album, like what we did to folklore. Certainly, this will be the Album Of The Year 2021, given the fact that it's a MASTERPIECE!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Wow. I never thought I’ll give an album a solid 10. Haven’t listened to folklore but I think I’ll give it a try. Been hearing that evermore is her sister? Anyway, this album was just masterpiece. Lyrics wise, like a **** poetry. From the opening of willow to the last lines of evermore. Wow. Justin Vernon pull those notes! That murder mystery storytelling with the Haim sisters (though mostly acted as background vocals), I was just floored. Este come out! Matt and Taylor’s voice fits perfectly and did I just hear Markus’ vocals on cowboy like me? The production of closure? Not all gonna vibe with that alt rock style, but yes! Love it. Happiness but with melancholic lyrics? The irony. And DorotheaAAAA! Marjorie just hit close to home. Tears. Literally. Ms Taylor Swift, I am grateful for this album. Thank you. Now I’m kind of wishing for a rock album by yours. Expand

'evermore' is a demonstration of Taylor's capabilities as a songwriter. Its composition and production work to make it one of 2020's standout records. It doesn't hurt that it's a perfect companion to 'folklore'.

Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.

The pandemic seems to have freed her, given her the space to breathe, and has allowed her to produce her most elegant and sophisticated work to date.
