This is Gaga's triumphant return to pop/dance music, and it is nothing short of brilliant.

It's absolutely her most personal work to date; every track is palpably powerful. While it is quite tame compared to her earlier works in terms of their outlandish nature, she makes up for it with newfound maturity and sophistication. The new shock factor is the relatabilty and honesty in the lyrics and composition. She has never sound more free and more versatile in her vocals as well; her vocal prowess she demonstrates in this album is jaw-dropping.

Personal highlights for me are all the Chromatica interludes, "Alice", "Stupid Love", "Rain On Me", "911", "Enigma", and "1000 Doves". Act 1 of the album (from "Chromatica I" to "Fun Tonight") is absolute pop perfection, in my opinion. I wouldn't change a single thing about that run of the album.

This is easily one of the greatest dance albums ever created, and it is an instant classic. Bravo, Gaga. You've created something truly magnificent.

The album is a trip to her heart and mind. Bringing a brief nostalgia of times we not lived before. She always innovates and shows a different part of her. Totally an album that if it weren't for the pandemic, it would be playing in several clubs around the world. Celebration, freedom and connection with our interior as well.

I can listen to Chromatica no matter if I'm sad or happy or angry and it helps me to feel better. Very deep, honest and emotional. I'm grateful for all the people, who worked on this album. They did such a great job.

Chromatica is easily Lady Gaga’s most cohesive work to date. Packed with crisp production, deeply introspective lyrics, and dance-floor ready beats, Gaga reminds everyone why they fell in love with her in the first place. Standout tracks include Fun Tonight for its unexpected bait-and-switch, 911 for its experimentation (yes, Chromatica II is a necessary listen in combination), Replay for its inherent strength on, forgive me, replay, and Sine from Above, a delightfully euphoric duet with Elton John highlighting music’s ability to heal.

Gaga is a chameleon. She has shifted genre since she 2008 debut, and each time it has been a success. Even during what most consider her “flop era”, ARTPOP, it still reached number one on Billboard and the Official UK Charts and has some of Gaga’s best work. It’s honestly a gem in a minefield. But we’re not here to discuss ARTPOP. Chromatica is the newest iteration of Lady, and my god,Gaga is a chameleon. Chromatica is the newest iteration of Lady, and my god, what an absolutely incredible record. Gaga claims that the album must be listened from beginning to end, not on shuffle, to appreciate the story. And that story is love, heartbreak, the pressure of fame, the media reports, her struggles with addictions and how she has handled gossip and backstabbing lovers and friends. Yet, with what one may assume is quite a dark album based on this alone, each song has your feet itching to just get up and dance. You feel good. It’s a true talent to be able to make people feel this way, and I’m sure the likes of Adele could not do the same. Not to pit any artist against each other, but it shows how each artist interprets their pain, and how they project it back out once they’ve processed it. In this case, we might be crying to the lyrics on the dance floor, but we’re feeling good and we’re dancing. In Chromatica, no one thing is greater than another... except Chromatica itself. A true return to form, with Gaga showcasing that when she wants to, she can bring back the 2008, New York Italian girl with ambitious plans to change the world one sequin at a time we all fell in love with. She sure has changed the world, and now she’s made her own. Expand

"Chromatica" is not an innovation in pop sounds or album production, I'm sure a lot of us have heard these beats somewhere else, but it could be hard for her to reinvent pop music yet again when she created the current music blueprint back when she released "The Fame" in 2008. Sine from above, parceria com Sir. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this. I was a little worried for Chromatica after hearing the singles - I loved Stupid Love but the other two I was feeling meh on. This is a PERFECT dance pop record and was truly made to be played in clubs. However, the lyrical matter is often very serious and heartfelt - making for a truly interesting sound and experience. The production is also EXCEPTIONAL and Gaga sounds better than ever. I think there’s something for everyone on this album. Favorites: Replay, Enigma, Babylon, 911. Oh, and happy pride month! Expand

This album is necessary both for those who talk about its monsters, and for its audience that understands that it is not easy to be a female artist who positions herself
instead of making songs just to dance, dance and dance. this is the time to dance sad.

It is an album that rescues the scent of pop music, Lady Gaga shows all her confidence as a vocalist and composer, it is a dance project with a very deep lyrical nuance, the Jazz phase, "Joanne" and "A Star is Boarn" served as an impulse to appreciate the album in its entirety, because "Cromatica" brings a more clean and polished view of Gaga despite your extravagant aesthetic and Freak signature

One of the few albums where I like every song. Great transitions between interludes and songs. Great sound. Some songs are short in time, but this is not felt when listening. Good job, Gaga!

One of her best creations yet! Lady Gaga has out done herself yet again. Time and time she re-invents herself. Chromatica is a nice dance-pop album with a lot of disco influence to it. Highlights are songs between Chromatica II and III which are more defined and stable. It's harder now to identify Lady Gaga's style because she seemed trying so hard to blend in with the current and not being the trailblazer as she did with her first three albums.

Full of nods to 99s and 80s house dance/club music. Deep Challenging lyrics paired with well produced club beats. Her most cohesive record since Born this Way the album is punchy and no song outstays it’s welcome. Full of clever and effective little notes.

This is an excellent album. I personally named it Pop Perfection. The lyrics are deep but the music is a dancefloor. This means music heals her and it has healed me. Amazing way to connect to the listener

The nostalgia in the production — a blend of crisp digital synth textures and ringing grooves drawn directly from '90s house music — further bolsters the shadowed euphoria of a song like "Sour Candy," in which Gaga is joined by the K-pop girl group Blackpink; "Sine from Above," featuring Elton John, gets a similar friction from the interplay between their voices.

Infectious, exciting and even a little hedonistic during some of the most confusing of modern times, now’s never been a better time to get lost in this new destination.

Chromatica’s frank grappling with the vagaries of Gaga’s brain – and the way fame exacerbates them – ends up feeling much more real than touring dive bars with a guitar and a Stetson ever did.
