I love this album. I have loved it since its lead single "Stupid Love". This is what we can expect from "The Mother Monster" Lady Gaga. She is back with her old self since after "A Star Is Born" soundtrack. Stefani killed it ! This is an album with full of creativity, great melody, meaningful lyrics, and amazing production. It gives me party and dancing vibes.

There is something impenetrable about Lady Gaga. She's not perfect and at times I don't understand the performance she's putting on. But she manages to be the sole most important figure in pop. She transcends her own music and takes on a significance that few peers do.

There is something impenetrable about Lady Gaga. She's not perfect and at times I don't understand the performance she's putting on. But she manages to be the sole most important figure in pop. She transcends her own music and takes on a significance that few peers do.

With every lyric and every persona, she has intention. Few of her lyrics feel casual. Even the campy lyrics that she reorients her music on Chromatica with. Other reviews seem to confine her to her previous work, with nonstop comparisons to The Fame and to Madonna. This music is a fun nostalgic reference to the origins of queer, house music that speaks to Gaga, even while the rest of pop moves in other directions and eventually disappears.

Gaga is a theatrical talent. She is best when she explores and reinterprets others' art. She confused and retaught the world of her gift to sing in character for A Star is Born. On Chromatica, Gaga sounds more delicate and grown-up while dumbing down her often complicated music for the masses. She bounces around your earbuds and defies expectations once more, despite the world's unrealistic expectations of her performance. She's arrived this time with kinder messages.

You can almost tell that she has left her judgmental and critical home in Manhattan and become comfortable in her skin at her new home in sunny southern California. I have a feeling this will be the last relic of a young, self-conscious Gaga. And I am going to soak these beats and sounds up and wear it as my skin, as I have been doing for over a decade.

Chromatica exposes Gaga's vulnerabilty on another level, and it's possibly her most personal record to date. For me, it equals to one of her previous works, Born This Way. But even that album, with all its impact on music industry, loses in its message. For years, Gaga's been talking mostly about other people: her LGBTQ+ fans, celebrities, her family... but never about herself and that's where Chromatica sets in. She seem to have found her way, not that she was ever lost, but she's reclaiming the dancefloor from which she left 7 years ago, and she's totally getting it back! The contrast between its sonority and its lyrics is even more impressive. First the record invites you to dance along through its 40+ minutes lengh, then you get its message. You should definitely listen to it. Welcome to the world of Chromatica. Expand

I guess the production of this album is somethibg to look at, influenced by EDM and House music, drinking from Gaga's first records. At the same time, lyrically, Chromatica stands far from Joanne, Born this Way and even A Star is Born. The songs at the same time, sound repetitive and with the same structure. This one is a grower. I was ready to give it a 3, but after a couple more listens I understand that there's a really good album in this. The concept is great and the lyrics are quite good too (even though there are some songs with lazy writing). 10/10 would recommend, the dark, sad truth behind the lyrics mixed with a 80’s/90’s beat not only brings this album back to her roots it’s a story in which Gaga battles through her pain. Best listened from the beginning to the end, not one single skip on the album. Every song on its own is a journey. Battle for your life!

What a comeback! Chromatica serves disco and house inspired tracks with the campy notes that have differentiated Gaga's work from others for more than a decade. Chromatica, even though it has a very retro insprired sound, keeps it fresh and sets new trends in music. The album doesn't stop, it keeps you dancing all the way through. It has a very serious feeling to it; songs have a very upbeat sound, but most lyrics are deeply personal. This aspect of the album gives the listener a very strong experience, and a new way of feeling pop music. The album is a very euphoric art piece, and can be easily described as a never-seen-before pop album filled with climaxes and euphoria. Personally, I think it will be as iconic and timeless as Gaga's early works: The Fame, The Fame Monster, or Born This Way. Expand

El mejor álbum de Gaga en cuanto a producción. Me gusta mucho cómo está dividido en 3 partes. Sine from Above y Babylon son mis preferidas. Excelente trabajo, realmente logró transportarme a su mundo!

The album is Gaga's disco pop era, is somthing that she needed to explore and she delivered flawlessly. Concept wise is a solid record that grabs some hints of 2013's ARTPOP album in terms of her iner struggles and pain. But also channels her 2012 Born This Way album as this takes a little of the musical direction, but in a disco way.

Chromatica is easily set to be a top album along Born

With the over the top production dance tunes partnered with deep lyrics. Chromatica, lets you relate, dance and cried all the same time. Let’s give Gaga for creating creative lyrics and a great body of work. Expand

The nostalgia in the production — a blend of crisp digital synth textures and ringing grooves drawn directly from '90s house music — further bolsters the shadowed euphoria of a song like "Sour Candy," in which Gaga is joined by the K-pop girl group Blackpink; "Sine from Above," featuring Elton John, gets a similar friction from the interplay between their voices.

Infectious, exciting and even a little hedonistic during some of the most confusing of modern times, now’s never been a better time to get lost in this new destination.

Chromatica’s frank grappling with the vagaries of Gaga’s brain – and the way fame exacerbates them – ends up feeling much more real than touring dive bars with a guitar and a Stetson ever did.
