all the songs sounds the same, there's no growth and the lyrics are basic (per usual), I like his old songs but this man took four years to show how much he IN FACT changed and it's the same artist with nothing new more than those creepy songs about sex and "love" that shows no emotion. I give a 0 cause I know he can do better and this is probably his worst album to date and he NEEDESall the songs sounds the same, there's no growth and the lyrics are basic (per usual), I like his old songs but this man took four years to show how much he IN FACT changed and it's the same artist with nothing new more than those creepy songs about sex and "love" that shows no emotion. Personally I've never bought his music before, but after I gave it a few listen and I'm hooked. I love the vocals on the acoustic, less overproduced tracks. His vocal is superior in this album! There's a nice variety of ballads and upbeat songs. He's super talented and now he found his lover, he seems very grounded. Keep going onward and upward!

I can't stop listening and not choosing a favorite song, it's all perfect. Again: JUSTIN IS INCREDIBLY THIS ALBUM, CONGRATULATIONS!! I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Expand

His worst album, it feels like there's something missing and also it's basically a boy trying to look like a man without success

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The album is good, but it did not fully meet my expectations. The lyrics are great, his vocals are wonderful but I think the beat always seems the same in addition to being very light. I couldn't feel R&B so much that he promised us, that's my opinion. But there is something that makes the album different from the previous ones, but I felt that something was also missing. Expand

Changes is an album to live with. And when you live with it, you'll never want it to move out.

Changes is an album to live with. And when you live with it, you'll never want it to move out.

Utterly authentic, beautifully performed, Changes proves there are never enough ways to say "I love you." Each song, its own declaration of the one thing on this spinning, often dark carbon leviathan, that makes humans shine - love. It's the song that brings all things and us to life and Justin Bieber's life and artistry: a testament to finding self out of desolation, confusion, addiction, shame, damage and loss, - to finding self-love and personal truth through a hard-won relationship with God, to finally being in a place where he could love another person so fully, so honestly and so rapturously - is the journey Changes is here to share. Enjoy. It's already a classic. Justin Bieber is a numinous artist, a beautiful, imperfect fellow human and an icon.

There's a totally different vibe than the one we are used from JB, however that doesn't mean that it's bad. In fact, I loved it. Justin is finally exploring his vocals more. On every song we can feel what he is saying because his voice is just everything! A 9 because maybe I'm not so used to R&B.

While Bieber's voice still sounds like that of a mid- to late-teen, singing seems to come more naturally to him, and his falsetto pleas are neither bitter nor entitled, strictly genuine and adult.

It’s a record in total lust and fealty to Hailey; you’ll probably want to duck out to use the bathroom halfway through.

Artists can certainly grow up and mature without losing their edge or creative spark. Changes, however, is ultimately a transitional record that finds Bieber navigating how to reconcile adulthood with pop stardom—and discovering that, at least in his case, this merger is a tricky one.
