Stream Lover instead . this album is the worst thing I've ever heard . basic beats , cringy lyrics and no artistic growth there are only good 4 songs and the rest sounds like yummy , purpose rejects and intentions

I think this is Justin's career-worst album. He does much better in pop and this album doesn't work for me at all

The lyrics in this are something else. Incredibly childsh and cringe inducing. Personally, I think Yummy is better lyrically then when he tries to get "deep" in here. Some of the worst:

"Shout-out to your mom and dad for makin' you Standin' ovation, they did a great job raisin' you" "Ooh, there's so much chemistry Like a chemist, how you finishin' my sentences" "I'm available

    "I'm available (Yeah-yeah)
    Oh, yes I am (Yeah-yeah)
    I'm available (Yeah-yeah)
    Yeah, for you I am
    Don't mean to sound desperate"

"Drew House slippers on with a smile on my face"

("Deep" poetry... written by a 10 year old?):
"Always rain the most in April
Every scale needs to be stable
Earth keeps spinnin' around, we're breathin'
    So thankful"

(Here he spends the whole chorus rhyming ME with ME):
    "When you come around me
Treat me like you miss me
Even though you've been with me
So when you come around me
Do me like you miss me
Even though you've been with me
    When you come around me
Treat me like you miss me
Even though you've been with me
So when you come around me
Do me like you miss me
Even though you've been with me
So when you come around me
Do me like you miss me"

(A few more deep thoughts from Mr. Bieber):
    "I'm goin' through changes
    I'm goin' through changes
    Though I'm goin' through changes
    Don't mean that I'll change"

"Rollin' eyes back in my head, make my toes curl, yeah, yeah"

    (How... romantic?):
"I'll be your punching bag, hit me with all of your might"

    (You're her WHAT):
"Yeah, I'm your plug Whatever you need, I'll make sure you get enough And when your battery gets low I'ma be the one to charge you up" Unfortunely, there's a character limit. But oh well, you get the point!

This album shows his maturity and growth and his vocals have improved significantly. He keeps reinventing himself with every album and that’s why he’s a real ARTIST.

Honestly, his best album to date. Obvious Vocal, Production and lyrical growth. ETA and Habitual alone are better than anything’s he’s put out before this.

Really dull. Nothing on this album stands out, lyrics are very basic, vocal performance uninspiring and the instrumentals sound one note.

I didn’t like the album, what is all this yummy bullsh1t? It is so disappointing because Justin Bieber has the opportunity to EVOLVE, all this generic trash just reminds me the 2005 I don’t know 2010 maybe, so sad we are in 2020 I don’t understand why all these artists are giving us this kind of music, do something INOVATIVE

It's an amazing album. U'll get to witness a whole another level of justin as an artist and a person through his music. RnB music with his own signature. His voice is absolutely heart-touching with amazing and new sound of production for an rnb album. The way he's talking bout his love for his wife and how much she helped changing him for the better is one of a kind. Have a taste first soIt's an amazing album. Justin is an amazing talented Artist. He’s outdone himself again. This album has great production, his voice has matured and is lyrically better than his previous album Purpose (purpose was still amazing) I think this is his BEST album no doubt. It was totally worth the wait and I can’t wait to see him on tour. I’m officially a Justin Bieber fan now

While Bieber's voice still sounds like that of a mid- to late-teen, singing seems to come more naturally to him, and his falsetto pleas are neither bitter nor entitled, strictly genuine and adult.

Artists can certainly grow up and mature without losing their edge or creative spark. Changes, however, is ultimately a transitional record that finds Bieber navigating how to reconcile adulthood with pop stardom—and discovering that, at least in his case, this merger is a tricky one.
