    Albums this sublime don't come around very often. Lowe plainly has put his 58 years of humanity into this album, although most of the Albums this sublime don't come around very often. Lowe plainly has put his 58 years of humanity into this album, although most of the songs on this album are clearly not autobiographical. For this we should be thankful, instead of an introspective confessional album that many artists at his age fall prey to, we get to enjoy a great storyteller who is also a great singer/songwriter. If your always drinking 2 buck chuck you won't know a fine bordeaux when you drink it. This is probably not a young mans album. There's history in these tracks, both in a personal way as well as musical. His references to a wide variety of styles have an organic, truthful feel to them-and it sounds great. I took to this album immediately, much like Ry Cooders latest album. It fits like a great old pair of jeans, and couldn't be more comfortable! Well done, Nick!… Full Review »
