They just ruined my 4 hours.
But,For DCEU fan's, it's good deal. Because, its far better than Justice league 2017.
Overall,not worth 4 hours.

Shockingly uninspired and drawn out. Steer clear at all costs. No charisma, power, or memorability.

This film suffers from a severe lack of nothing happening, an overuse of slowmo when something does and poor visuals.

Expand

Long winded and boring. Bad acting, bad cinematography, bad story, bad writing. It was a chore to get through and I finished feeling as if I wasted my time, which is unfortunate because it's 240 minutes.

Ive seen the whedons cut and this version isnt different at all. It lasted four hours for so many slowmos and unnecessary scenes that gives cringe feelings. This is over dramatized and the background music doesnt fit some of the scenes at all.

Too much Mera, is like a statement. Scenes that doesn't aport anything to story.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think in a lot of ways its plot is more sensible than Whedon's cut, but somehow structurally the worse movie. I don't think movies have to be under some sort of arbitrary time limit in order to be good, but I think if you make a 4 hour movie it should probably earn that runtime. Instead, Zack Snyder's Justice League is exhausting, with so many scenes especially early on that could've been cut at no loss to the narrative. Many characters have multiple "first introduction" scenes, and I think it's obvious that the first Flash and Aquaman scenes don't really work either emotionally or in the context of the rest of the film (that part where Barry brushes Iris' hair while he's saving her life is maybe the worst thing Snyder has ever made).

I think the story around the movie is endlessly interesting, though. So many glowing reviews seem to highlight the triumph of this film compared to Whedon's cut, probably due to the backstory around the two directors. Some comic based reviewers have stated how this is a movie made for them, but as a comic book reader (and DC fan particularly) I can't understand that. Maybe the best example is the Martian Manhunter scene, which takes place right in the middle of an important conversation and has no logic to it whatsoever. Is what people want out of comic book movies now really just fanservice? Snyder seems to think he's reinventing the wheel and making serious, thought-provoking comic book films, but in reality his films (his "true vision", even) have much less to say than Marvel's quick, snappy popcorn flicks. Have we come so far since the days of Adam West's Batman, only to settle in a desire for stories about the insanely powerful fighting otherworldly CGI monsters? DC comics and storylines in fact work the best when we zoom in on these literal gods to see their humanity, but ZSJL has an almost unflinching desire to stay away from that. The most we get is Cyborg using his powers to help an impoverished woman, or Wonder Woman saving a bunch of kids from terrorists. But this latter scene is undercut both by the obnoxious lamentation music the film plays every time Wonder Woman is on screen and her ultimate decision to end the conflict by nearly blowing up the building herself.

These are more nitpicky complaints, but man I really can't stand The Flash in this movie, and I unapologetically love the campy CW show. The movie is at its most exhausting either when its trying to be light-hearted or funny, or when it fully embraces the melodrama (that first Lois Lane scene is vintage Snyder). I can't tell whether it's better than Whedon's cut, but I do know I feel silly for sitting through either of them.

The version of flash and WW was so cringy that I wished I was dead. Please put that Zack in jail

It is filled with even more plot holes than Whedon's theatrical release, only now there's a ton of unnecessary scenes that literally add nothing to the story and only add to the already long list of unanswered questions.

I don't mind the 4:3 aspect ratio. I don't even mind the long runtime. But I can't look past the glaringly obvious plot holes, uncomfortably drawn out & unnecessary scenes, or the jumbled editing & intermittently bad CGI. I won't even get into the tired slow-mo gimmick, or the terrible score/soundtrack.

I want to end by saying that I understand Zack suffered a tremendous loss only to have WB screw him over on top of it. But even if none of that happened and this was the movie we got to see in theaters years ago, I'd still have the exact same problems with it.

Even the actors hated being in this 'movie'. I love superheroes. But this was boiling stock from a dry chicken. I don't know what he was thinking making this one.

More consistent than the theatrical version, but that is not enough to save it from bad writing, clunky dialog, dry acting and boring drawn out action scenes. Stop enabling Zack Snyder to keep making **** comic book films. Please.

Proof positive that WB, DC and Snyder are clueless.
Finally got around to watching this. Oh my god. What a bloated, boring mess.
As dodgy as all the CGI from the Theatrical release is/was, at least Superman acted like Superman. At least there

I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who defends this steaming pile of of Snyder.
For wasting my time and telling the exact same story as the theatrical the option to give this mess a minus rating should be an option.
Just pathetic.

What a disaster of a movie. Messy storyline, 4 hours of clichés interrupted by predictable action sequences by characters who take themselves entirely too seriously.
