Summary: The 1979 class of Porter Gaud School in Charleston graduated 49 boys. Since then, six of them have committed suicide. When Paige Goldberg Tolmach learns that another former student from her beloved high school has killed himself, she dives into the past to uncover the surprising truth about a sexually abusive faculty member, attempting to release her hometown from the ghosts that haunt it.
