From the graphical style, the characters (of course), the voices, the music/sounds, the plot, etc. to the easter eggs (which made me tear up)... EVERYTHING breathes Nintendo and it's amazing for real Nintendo & Mario fans. A MUST SEE!

The movie was enjoyable and was created in a way where even if you didn't get all the references, you knew when references were made and felt included. The visuals were stunning and the story was compelling. First of all: Yes, I'm a big Mario fan and that's why I love this movie.
Its like a prequel to the action of the games and I like that. The story of how Mario and Luigi got into the Mushroom-Kingdom and more. The movie has lots of details and eastereggs and I really enjoyed seeing them.First of all: Yes, I'm a big Mario fan and that's why I love this movie.

This movie is great. Tons of Easter eggs and callbacks if you enjoy Super Mario Bros and Nintendo this is a great movie whether you're young or older.It moves along at a good pace and doesn't feel like it wastes its time plus its great to look at with top notch visuals. One of the most unoriginal, shallow movies you'll see. If this were called anything else, No one would have seen this. It just so happens to be a Mario film and that is the sole reason it is getting any kind of praise.
