It's hilarious that Hollywood is desperately trying to showcase empowered women's films, using the same resources that the industry labels as clichés.

The Princess believes that focusing on violence, action sequences, women involved in those sequences and the occasional feminist commentary will be enough to mask its total lack of substance, depth and credibility.

This is an empty film in every sense of the word, which may be entertaining enough for anyone looking for nothing more than to numb themselves for a while in front of the TV. Otherwise this poor attempt, with the quality of a CW show, will be a waste of your time.

Some decent fight choreography and action set pieces. Awkward plotting and performances with not much to go on.

I found the action scenes quite nice, albeit unreallistic, but its just a movie so doesn't matter. Plot-wise though it offered really little as most of the movie was just one long action scene
