An Ok dramatised historical movie however it's filled with cheap CGI and a bad script. Read the book first, it's so much better than the movie.

Not very good. It's a poor mans Lord of the Rings. Skip it. The actors overact and it is historically inaccurate. The costumes are OK though. The script was boring and it just dragged on and on.

Pretty bad attempted epic that is marginally enjoyable if not taken seriously.

An adventure film that starts in Rome and then goes north into Britannia. A few familiar faces from other productions are nice to see. I haven't read the book, so I wasn't expecting anything in particular other than "there will be a legion involved somehow", and there was a legion involved somehow, so it delivered on that much. If you like fantasy adventure sorts of stories but don't take things too seriously then you can probably enjoy this film. Expand

This appears very much like a TV show that may be shown about 7-8pm on a weekend. It features Colin Firth and John Hannah as romans and Ben Kingsley as Merlin. Its certainly cheesy but its not entirely unwatchable, just rather unremarkable. This appears very much like a TV show that may be shown about 7-8pm on a weekend. It features Colin Firth and John Hannah as romans and Ben Kingsley as Merlin. Its certainly cheesy but its not entirely unwatchable, just rather unremarkable. The cinematography is ok, not awful but certainly not great either and the special effects are somewhat poor. Overall its an ok film but no more really, so I wouldn't specifically recommend it as such, no. Expand
