This movie was made for one reason, to DISTURBE you, and it was very good at that. It is not meant to be a good movie, it was made to disturbe you. That is all.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really did weep for humanity when I saw this. It is just so disgusting when it didn't have to be. The first one was bad enough. The second one just pumped in more gore then the last one, besides that it is just practically the same movie. DONT WATCH THIS WITH A WEEK STOMACHE Expand

This is actually a good movie. After hearing how messed up it is, I was dissapointed. All the gore comes off as funny rather than sickening. Sure the plot is stupid and the acting is bad, but it is almost so bad that it is good.

This second instalment moves the action to the UK, dispenses with colour and gives the lead role to a non actor. This feels a lot more exploitative than the first and seems to be aiming simply to disgust rather than to continue the story which makes it a far inferior film. Expand

What I liked about the film was that it was black and white all the time. It just had its charm. What I praised in the first film was the doctor who created The Human Centipede, because he was scared of it from the look of it. But now someone else is coming on the scene. Hard to say whether better. I'm probably leaning a little towards the doctor from number one, but night watchman Martin also has his charm. It's also weird from the point of view. This time it's not about fear, it's just weird. How he looks with those eyes all the time. I don't know if that was the purpose, but it's great. That's all. No, really now. What is more or less the case here is the case with number one. Don't look for a story here, although there is one and it is maybe a little better. But the film excels in disgust, just like the previous one. It was a little better here. So if you enjoy perversion or you liked the first film, then I don't think you'll make a mistake if you look at this one as well. I advise other people to put their hands away. If you are not looking for different tastes, then this is not for you. For me, an average film that I recommend only to those who want some disgust. Expand
