This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Just saw the movie and I'm pretty confident in saying that it was one of the biggest pieces of **** I've seen in a while.
Has Ezra Miller ever been in a movie were he doesn't play a guy with autism? I don't know, I never seen another one I'm just judging by is face.
The movie looked like it was written by an Indian spam bot for all the **** sense it made. I've seen a lot of bad CGI movies but this one steals the cake. The CGI is so bad you would assume that you were in 1995 where they paid a team of 5 interns with very little or no experience at all in computer graphics.

There were some parts that were not even finished but they were on the final cut.
I've played some PS2 games with better graphics. I'm going to create a Go Fund Me account just so this team doesn't make another movie again.
I bet the next WB investors meeting is going to be really hawkward when they saw they've spent $200 million and for **** years, just to have no return.

At some stage I've felt a colossal urge for leaving the cinema so I look to my friend who was sitting next to me so we could leave together but the **** was sleeping. I say **** just for the fact that he was the one insisting we should see the movie. "C'mon man, it can't be that bad!" he said! Well, indeed it was because he for sure felt like it his time would be better spent sleeping for the second half of it instead of waisting more time on this **** turd of a movie.… Expand

Oof, this is really sad. Terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE CGI, throughout the whole movie. The story was really bland and predictable, felt like complete nostalgia bait and no substance. Just like the comics, DC is just copying everything Marvel does. Its pathetic. Multiverse? Check. Team ups? Check. Fan bait cameos? Check. This genre is cooked. Movies are terrible now.

Starting with the fact that Barry is shown initially as autistic with a behavior disorder (as Newt Salamander from The Creatures), then suddenly he becomes normal. LEO goes back in time a few years, where he's not just autistic, but really mentally retarded. There he's 18, but acts like a 14 year old in the worst incarnation of a teen comedy about **** boobs and **** CRINGEATTACK. Keaton's Batman is also a total fanservice cringe. Supergirl is a bright spot. There's almost no cringe with her. The graphics are a mess. You should watch it after drinking two liters of beer - then it will be fun (or you could be retarded as young Burry).… Expand

If this movie was a song it would be a remix by Robin Schulz. The Cameos are defined by the word "Random" and the rest of the movie as just ugly. DC cooked DC delivered burned everything.

This is a clear example and should be a case study for film schools on how NOT to make movies adapted from source. I think it's mostly due to many cooks in the kitchen with no clear vision for story or arcs. These movies or tentpoles are made on a budget for heavy scale and the CGI for the same is deplorable. DC used to be better with their earlier movies. Some of the sequences intended for the laughs fall flat. The elements and themes borrow a portion out of what we see in superhero movies that have already tested the waters coming to multiverse concept and thus fatigue inducing. The story isn't engaging as much and the last act is terribly done. This is a product seemingly affected by development constraints, creative differences and delays over time. Not a PASS, definitely. Like other negative reviewers have mentioned the CGI is shockingly bad. It starts from the opening baby drop scene and is evident whenever both Barrys are on the screen, perspective is off and detail is lacking.

Story wise Flash Point isn't given any justice, a lot of new concepts are thrown in with little exposition. If you haven't read the comics or watched the CW tv show, 'speed force, phasing and the reverse Flash' are alien.

The story made it difficult to invest in any of the characters. I probably preferred Barry in the other DC ensemble pieces where although goofy - I at least cared if he was o.k. Or not.… Expand

Crap upon crap upon crap. Stupid and mediocre story; all the characters are morons; the production is terrible; the effects look like taken from a Playstation, and Playstation 1; no respect or coherence with what was dome before; all the time it goes for the inane, cheap, dumb jokes.

If you take the worst of Thor 4, WW84, Steel, She-Hulk, and you mix it, that'd be better than this.

It has 2 or 3 decent moments. Keaton is almost always great, everything else is a waste of time, money, and sadly, potential.

We could have had more Snyder, an Affleck Batman, more Cavill, and we get this piece of garbage?? I'm a lifelong fan of DC and I'm out.… Expand

Horrible story from a great source: the flashpoint paradox , why this awful “writer”that wrote Bumblebee and birds of prey? Geoff Johns that wrote the comics was a better option. Watched only now that is free, and even free is a waste of time

But it's biggest sin by far is the deplorable CGI. 10 minutes in and I could already tell it was going to be really bad. The first time he runs it just doesn't look right. Can't put my finger on it but it looks weird. And then, the baby in the microwave. That may be the worst CGI I've seen in years. It would have looked more realistic to use a doll. They were doing more realistic stuff 5 years ago. I finished the movie but I really couldn't focus on anything else.… Expand

This story relied far too heavily on the successes of previous movies hoping nostalgia might make this a success also. Sadly there are also attempts to redeem previous franchise failures and cameos that have completely missed the mark or gone over the heads of many.

My opinion only, failed terribly and ruined a character and story arc that has so much potential and deserves much better.

Compounding this disappointment, the CGI was the worst in recent memory of any film I've seen. Actually embarrassing for films in this era and capabilities. C Grade with limited budget at best. It shows.

The CGI was cartoonish, and if this is the reset DC is trying to do, they're going in the wrong direction if they think that actor is good for Batman. The Flashpoint Paradox storyline is good but the execution they did for this movie was sophomoric. Why not use this to bring in a Batman Beyond character? And I'm sorry, that actor is not right for Barry Allen (it's a shame they couldn't use the CW Flash actor, he is much much better). I only gave it an extra half-star for Michael Keaton, which was the bright spot of this debacle.

Oh, if you do decide to go see this disaster, there is a final, rather stupid, after-credit scene.… Expand

The acting from all the cast as a whole is rubbish.
The story is silly and full of plot holes.

The actors put the effort into the film and the cameos were a nice touch. But the film was a mess, it looked very rushed at the end, poor CGI (superman's chin all over again). The last act was nothing short of a disappointment. Not worth the hype.

Ant-man and the Wasp Quantumania and The Flash share a very similar interest… they are both bad films and they shouldn’t be praised or defended by anyone as this is why Marvel and DC think it’s acceptable to release films in this state. There’s so much wrong with The Flash like for example Micheal Keaton’s return used for nostalgia bait, underused supergirl, rushed 2nd half story telling, comedy set as priority, awful CGI used for cameo appearances and other.
