The writing is an embarrassment, the characters are hateable at the worst way possible, the concept of the animation makes it look like garbage (yet the execution makes it just awful), the embarrassing attempt of selling apps and so on. One of the worst movies of all time. The fact that a crew agreed to work, and got paid to work, on a movie of this caliber is astonishing. Garbage plot, garbage characters, and uninspired mess. Shameful.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. JTaoTaoTao is far off about this movie. This movie is bad and we're not, mostly. It's not the worst movie ever (which is what he's implying). But, it's still really bad. Not a treasure at all. Ignore the misanthrope and avoid this movie at all costs. I would even say that Playmobil: The Movie is better. This film is the worst animated film in existence and one of, if not THE worst movie of all time. It is literally nothing but a big long advertisement for apple. It’s kind of a crappier version of the Lego movie, and I mean so much crappier. It’s obvious because the character Jailbreak is a complete knockoff of Wyldstyle from that movie, but washed out. Speaking of characters, they’re awful and there is no development in them. There were some good actors involved who I’m certain regretted it, including Patrick Stewart who they casted to play a literal sh*t (which is what the movie is). What an insult to a legend like him. The movie even supposedly cost us a Popeye movie which they really should have done instead. This film is a cashgrab that doesn’t deserve the right to exist and it isn’t worth a f*cking cent to watch.… Expand

This is easily the worst movie I have ever seen. For a movie where the primary characters are emojis, characters created to convey emotions - this movie is completely lacking of any emotion.
