So, the movie is a bit slow and plods along in places where it could definitely have done a better job of keeping the audience awake. The premise is both interesting, but also confusing. The Beyond has an interesting premise, but fails to do anything actually interesting with it. Instead of developing characters and giving the viewer a reason to care about anything happening, Beyond chooses to make more broad, sweepingThe Beyond has an interesting premise, but fails to do anything actually interesting with it. Instead of developing characters and giving the viewer a reason to care about anything happening, Beyond chooses to make more broad, sweeping statements about humans, their beliefs, and politics. It thinks it's saying something philosophical and prophetic, but actually just sounds ripped straight out of a "generic quotes about mankind and civilization" book. At the end, I felt like nothing really happened. I knew no ones names. I was really just thinking about how it reminded me of bits and pieces from other better projects.… Expand
