Actuaciones, escenarios y secuencias realistas. Una historia importante. Una historia impecable. Rodrigo apunta alto.

Inspired by a story of 2010 crime news and irrelevant like those with which journalists fill their vacuous spaces, Sorogoyen cannot go beyond the misanthropic jeremiad already swept away by I don't know how many scholars, from natural selection as a law that vexes the entire cosmos and not only the biological area of Darwinian relevance (1859) to the biblical exegesis of Ricœur that since 1965 demonstrates that evil comes up to us as an unrefusable inheritance. Already in the inorganic, the Sun is a dwarf star that in about 5 billion years will expand to incorporate, engulf, swallow, parasitize any other celestial body of its/our system [greater mass/density=greater gravitational force]. "Fitness" is a mephitic law of the jungle where the winner is always the strongest in a predatory sense and not on the axiological basis of positive values. When will this elementary cultural update? How much longer will one insists on judging pacifist matriarchy and the critique of xenophobia as more important?

Despite the accolades I feel compelled to warn you that this is a terribly paced film, with a running time well over two hours but with a story that could be conveyed easily in an hour episode — really over one beer in a Spanish pub. The castDespite the accolades I feel compelled to warn you that this is a terribly paced film, with a running time well over two hours but with a story that could be conveyed easily in an hour episode — really over one beer in a Spanish pub. The cast is strong, the natural scenery great, and the story is completely credible. But the dim lighting, artistic password for a creepy Euro-thriller, as well as a lack of incident for its length, combine to make it not worth a foray to the local Bijou. Thematically, the story arguably works, too, but there’s no new take on the circumstances. The plot is an old one, so one’s patience is doubly taxed for no real payoff. Expand
