I’d like to start off by staying this was one of the best movies that I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve watched it twice so far. Once with my wife and once with my twelve year old daughter, both of them loved it as well. Once with my wife and once with my twelve year old daughter, both of them loved it as well. The characters and storyline was so believable and realistic. I loved how there was no music during the movie. It really created an authentic suspenseful experience. There was no forced emotion created by music during the tense emotional scenes. I won’t give away any spoilers but this movie had a great message to go along with it. Please watch this and share with family and friends. The movie is quite violent though. There is a good amount of students that are killed during throughout the movie. I would recommend not sharing with younger children. The nudity in the movie was also not as graphic as I anticipated. It was of a mans rear end. I can’t say enough good things about this movie, I’m happy and proud to be part of this monumental step in taking back entertainment.… Expand

Note to the filmmakers: you didn't need the blasphemy that happened 4x-5x throughout. This includes both "GD" and "JC". I understand that it is pervasive in our modern culture, but it's offensive to many ears and didn't serve the story in any way- i.e. the use of these phrases was clearly not meant as a device to further develop the characters. So why include it? I could say the same about the brief nudity, but at least that was mostly implicit as opposed to the explicit blasphemy.… Expand

IGNORE THE CRITICS. While school shootings are a terrible and reprehensible thing in this world, they are still a thing and thus can be the basis for a movie. If violence and teenagers is something you can't handle, do skip this movie.

For others, you may find it cathartic watching annoying school shooters getting blasted out of existence. Its shot, edited, paced well. And I hope for future lead roles for the heroine who carried this movie. -1 point for a ludicrous plot point involving her father near the end, entirely unnecessary and unbelievable. I presume since they paid for Thomas Jane they intended to get their money's worth. If you were entertained by movies like Battle Royale or Hotel Mumbai then you'll likely to be entertained by this film as well.… Expand

I don't oppose movies with obvious political agendas with which I may not personally agree, but this movie is a stretch to the point where it seeks not to represent a political agenda to convince others, but rather to appeal to those who already have hardcore, pro-2A views. A real hit and miss on that point.

If I had to say one good thing about this film, it's the cinematography. A genuinely interesting use of light and filters. Sadly, it does not save a film that is fundamentally poorly-written and designed to appeal to an echo chamber.… Expand

This was a thrilling film that I enjoyed every minute of. I was pleasantly surprised by the subtle mental health struggles within many of the characters. It was refreshing to have a film be so raw and true to its delivery.

I've seen many movies throughout my life, and frankly this one despite its disappointing quality made me think about what we consume as entertainment.

School shootings in the US are all too common, but until now they have been untouchable inI've seen many movies throughout my life, and frankly this one despite its disappointing quality made me think about what we consume as entertainment.

School shootings in the US are all too common, but until now they have been untouchable in terms of the kind of story this film is telling.

Run Hide Fight is basically Hanna meets Die Hard, and while it might be considered in bad taste for such a tragedy to be exploited in an action movie, tragedies of all kinds are exploited in multiple ways in film. Especially in the action genre. For god's sake, we turned the horror of war into entertainment, and yet the school shootings were untouchable, perhaps because they're a reality that feels too palpable, and a film like this also explores the hypocrisy of a society that has done nothing to remedy them.

As a film or entertainment, I do not take anything from this failed attempt, but what has made me reflect is perhaps the biggest gain.… Expand

Isabel May is exceptional in this film, and shows the audiences, that she can play a well thought out young women, who had to become strong for some reason, you'll find in the movie... not just some funny young teen who lives in a buble... And this is her first movie, before this she was only in series!

At the wery end, something bothered me... Wont spoil it completly. Some object is left on the ground unsupervised. And in real life that just wouldn't happen that way...

But besides that, the film makes a good case about bullies and there victims, in a way, that no matter what victims soffer from a classmate or from a teacher in the past, could used as any kind of excuse for murder!

And that's why the leftist media will make sure, to rate this film down, with critics, who are afraid, if they don't do what they are told, they will be canceled!

So if anyone would like to rate this movie besides me, give it your honest opinion, even if you don't liked it for some reason. To end mine:
This is a good saturday night film alone, or with friends!… Expand

Spoiler Alert: This is Definitely not a Christian produced film as it is gritty [violence, profanities, a partial nudity, and Biblical theological inaccuracies] but even so, it does show loving sacrifices made by caring people, Christian and non-Christian characters alike to overcome evil. In our current societal climate, this film has it's place as it could be used as a teaching tool for parents, school staff and "Powers that Be" to prepare all those who may be interested in enhancing school security/defense. It also conveys an insight to what may be seen/heard, the spirit and mentality behind such attacks, and the mindset needed to counter it and prevail. This is an interesting parallel between her and the antagonists of the film who have chosen to let go in a far more destructive way. The film does come with a number of "gut check" moments as well which will likely incite some level of discomfort with people. Given the premise of the plot, that should go without saying but the execution of said moments does a fantastic job of indicating to the audience the gravitas of the situation, providing a sense that the stakes are high. While the ending does come off mildly cliche, it does wrap things up in neat bow.… Expand

Well done, Daily Wire! It's funny how the "professional critics" are so out of touch with the rest of us. Great acting by the young cast, and story and pace kept me interested the entire time. Definitely worth a watch!

The action sequences were great too! None of that fake James Bond type of hero where bullets always miraculously miss them and the good guy never misses. The setup was awesome, the drama and suspense of the middle kept me hooked, and the ending was awesome! Normally I can call the ending from just watching a few minutes, but this one surprised me at each step all the way to the end.
The biggest challenge was to get it working with my Roku TV, but it's definitely worth jumping through all the hoops!… Expand

The story was also well constructed, easy to follow, and flowed well enough to constantly have your attention. The music was great too, always adding to the scenes. I hope one day it is available on more platforms than the Daily Wire so I don’t have to support them as I had to pay for the lowest subscription for one month in order to view this movie, but that wasn’t more than renting a movie on Amazon anyway so I can’t really complain. Also just so more people have access to it! All in all I would highly recommend watching this movie regardless of where you can view it.… Expand

The director captured the essence of child psychology PERFECTLY. The way the main kid tries to act like the joker the way kids overly force an act out when trying to make others understand that the kid is trying to act like a powerful villain even though the kids when they do it are cringey and pathetic - the fact that they included that kind of immaturity is spot on.
The need for social media attention.
The girl school shooter's character is exactly how you'd expect an overdramatic attention seeking drug addict girl dressed in all black with no sense of consequences for her actions to act.

Let me reiterate: The directing, characters, LINES were all perfect. Spot on. SURPRISING how detailed the characters and dialogue was and not unrealistic or cringey unlike literally every other movie.

The ACTING from EVERYONE in the movie was unreal. You couldn't even tell they were playing a part, even the extras. I can't believe how much better than Hollywood this is.

Worth every penny. EVERY penny.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This film is a complete mess. It's basically just social media bad with the romanticization of school shootings. All the characters were unrealistic and forgettable.
Zoe Hull, like most republicans, is a crazy schizophrenic.
A 0.8mm thick metal locker is not going to shield someone from multiple gunshots.
She was shot in the leg but could run immediately after and then moved around at a fast pace continuously throughout the rest of this trainwreck.
She put the belt on her gunshot leg wound which would not stop the blood loss, meaning she shouldn't have been able to do most of the things she did in her film.
With her blood loss and the number of activities Zoe did after, eg, running from multiple shooters, running to help people out of the school, etc, she should have tired out and passed out.
This all points to her plot armour as the main character and made the film hard to watch and suspend my disbelief. The acting wasn't very good, most lines and their deliveries were unnatural. Basically, if you want some poorly written, poorly acted right-wing propaganda about how social media bad, guns good and leftists being delusional, watch this film.… Expand

Ultimate payoff, that’s what this movie is! The critics are reacting to ugly events regarding one of Cinestate’s producers amongst other things... nothing to do with the movie, it’s stars or director.... By similar logic, every Weinstein associated film needs to be pummelled into the ground never to be seen again. But they aren’t, are they?! So why is it applied here?
I guess professional critics review by politics and incentives now, don’t take notice of them. Look at the score by us little guys, that’s the real thing.
This movie is freaking ace, great pacing, great acting and an utterly kickass lead in Isabel May. I’m pondering if this movie is better than Die Hard... Right now, having just finished watching it... I really think it is. Don’t let me over hype this hidden gem.... I’m yet to come down from the high. This is the stuff cult movies are made of.… Expand
