The overall quality was there, the characters were well chosen. The main character was the most believable, but apart from a good budget, the script just didn’t cut it.

There wasn’t enough depth or sophistication in the story to make it believable and this left if predictable and quite linear. Yes. They were certainly times you were glued to the screen because of the suspense of killers running around a school. But actually, they didn’t do much or go anywhere so after a while things became static.

Things just felt a little rushed, with the right pacing and the interconnecting part would have flowed better to make a more dynamic film.

Think Die Hard in a high school but with an indie budget and a dumber script - Isabel May wasn't bad and reminds me of a young Jennifer Lawrence, and it was nice to see Treat Williams again - 5 stars

I think this was a pretty interesting school shooter vs school shooter movie which was probably viewed by school shooters. But at least it was better than that feminist trash that they've been putting out in the last few years.

Great writing and just a very enjoyable movie all around and without the leftist political message I didn’t have to sigh from frustration even once!

The movie was fine other than that, but nothing special Expand

Riveting, gritty good edge of the seat action.
You come in wondering how bad it can get and you find yourself cheering for the underdog!

An insult to compare the Bruce Willis in "Die Hard" to this film: John McClane was a fictional character full of self-irony, while Kyle Rankin solves the massacres in U.S. high schools with a 17-year-old "G.I. Jane" who is more an exterminating angel than a guardian angel. The protagonist Isabel May is proposed as the new Jennifer Lawrence from "Winter's Bone" to "The Hunger Games", the other students rival for the most shameful phrase or gesture.

Edge of seat thriller; from the opening scene to the closing with Eve of Destruction cover by the Mondo Boys, I didn’t move or take my eyes off the screen.
