This Movie was absolutely Fantastic!!! I watched in support of Daily Wire and their work where as my GF was just watching to see a good movie. Run Hide Fight is, apparently, a low budget film and if you pay close attention, you can see symptoms of this fact. This doesn't take away from the overall effectiveness of it's entertainment value, however.

Despite the dark nature of the story, it does a good job of spotlighting the heroes that arise to fight the darker forces in the film. The viewer is saddened by the actions of the villains of the movie, but feels compelled to see the heroes fight back and seize the day. The movie is fast paced and will keep you interested. The only knock for me personally is the end. I thought most of the movie was very realistic, but struggled with how believable I thought the end was, given the main character’s evolution.… Expand

One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. An intense story about standing up bravely in the face of evil. Well-written with great acting by the whole cast, would highly recommend to anyone, especially people who enjoy watching thrillers.

Ignore the political affiliation of the people releaseing this movie when you go into it. That has nothing to do with the quality of the movie.

This film is hard to watch, given the subject matter. Especially since it doesn’t pull any punches. But man does it draw you in, keep you on the edge of your seat, make you root for each and every good guy and neutral party, make you desperately want to see the main bad guy fail, and leave you wanting more. It’s also not quite as unrealistic as some people say. Individuals do go up against violent offenders. Some people are willing to risk themselves to save others, if the opportunity to overcome is presented. This movie makes you think of those people.

I’m not surprised by the poor critic ratings...or the glowing viewer ratings. It’s seriously amazing, and I can’t wait to see what these guys come out with next.… Expand

Her performance impacted me in a way I never thought a film like this ever could provide. The story was also well constructed, easy to follow, and flowed well enough to constantly have your attention. The music was great too, always adding to the scenes. I hope one day it is available on more platforms than the Daily Wire so I don’t have to support them as I had to pay for the lowest subscription for one month in order to view this movie, but that wasn’t more than renting a movie on Amazon anyway so I can’t really complain. Also just so more people have access to it! All in all I would highly recommend watching this movie regardless of where you can view it.… Expand

The director captured the essence of child psychology PERFECTLY. The way the main kid tries to act like the joker the way kids overly force an act out when trying to make others understand that the kid is trying to act like a powerful villain even though the kids when they do it are cringey and pathetic - the fact that they included that kind of immaturity is spot on.
The need for social media attention.
The girl school shooter's character is exactly how you'd expect an overdramatic attention seeking drug addict girl dressed in all black with no sense of consequences for her actions to act.

Let me reiterate: The directing, characters, LINES were all perfect. Spot on. SURPRISING how detailed the characters and dialogue was and not unrealistic or cringey unlike literally every other movie.

The ACTING from EVERYONE in the movie was unreal. You couldn't even tell they were playing a part, even the extras. I can't believe how much better than Hollywood this is.

Worth every penny. EVERY penny.… Expand

I mean I knew the basic idea and plot of the movie from the one trailer I had seen. I knew there would be uncomfortable moments due to the subject matter, i.e., a school shooting. However, once I started I could not turn it off. I was amazed at how good the various newcomer actors were--especially the young female lead and the young man who was her main antagonist. I also thought it treated the material in a very evenhanded way. It's no wonder all of the professional reviewers hated it. Isabel May is exceptional in this film, and shows the audiences, that she can play a well thought out young women, who had to become strong for some reason, you'll find in the movie... not just some funny young teen who lives in a buble... And this is her first movie, before this she was only in series!

At the wery end, something bothered me... Wont spoil it completly. Some object is left on the ground unsupervised. And in real life that just wouldn't happen that way...

But besides that, the film makes a good case about bullies and there victims, in a way, that no matter what victims soffer from a classmate or from a teacher in the past, could used as any kind of excuse for murder!

And that's why the leftist media will make sure, to rate this film down, with critics, who are afraid, if they don't do what they are told, they will be canceled!

So if anyone would like to rate this movie besides me, give it your honest opinion, even if you don't liked it for some reason. To end mine:

I presume since they paid for Thomas Jane they intended to get their money's worth. The movie certainly isn’t perfect: it at times stretches credulity and some of the writing is a bit fake. However, it is still a very engaging and emotionally compelling movie.

The story centers on a school shooting from the perspective of one of the victims. This makes for an uncompromisingly intense experience right through to the end. May is spectacular in her role, which is demanding and emotionally deep. Each of the young adult/child actors does an incredible job in this film in making you believe, and understand, what they’re going through...even those playing the villains, all but one who is fleshed out. As I wrote above, the movie has flaws, but it is surprising to see the critics hate this movie as much as they do. The best I can figure, they hate the movie not because of its artistic statement or the craft in the work, but because the writer/director has made some movies with politically right leaning values and one producer has been accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year old. Despite being distributed by the right wing media company The Daily Wire, the movie is not political in any way. It can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their political beliefs because the movie doesn’t preach or force or even make any political statements. It is merely a compelling story of a culturally relevant topic. The biggest difficulty for someone looking to legally watch this movie in North America is that it does require a subscription to The Daily Wire, a right wing media outlet owned and created by the controversial Ben Shapiro. The movie will not be enough to entice politically apathetic or liberal minded people to join. But if you are conservative, libertarian, or a free thinker and interested in politics, the movie might be good enough for you to sign up for a trial run and see if there is anything else on the site which interests you.… Expand

The stated purpose of this movie is to provide entertainment to compete with Hollywood so that all of the entertainment you get doesn't come from people who have absolute disdain for middle America.

As such, they wisely sidestep the preaching and the social cliches in favor of engaging characters, excellent performances, and an attempt to foster independent thought and discussion about the real-world conventions here. My only nitpick is that the ending is a tad anti-climactic, but the build-up throughout the movie kept me on the edge of my seat, and seeing the way students and teachers responded really hit hard at a few points.

The Hollywood critics, of course, despise it because they can't handle competition either in the entertainment business or in political beliefs, but don't blindly take their word for it. See the movie for yourself and decide whether this kind of competition is worth supporting. If nothing else, it will definitely keep you entertained.… Expand

An intense, dangerous, but honest look at the problem of school shootings in America. There is tact in depicting such a tough subject. This doesn't glorify violence, but bravery. It will give you heartache, but it was a wonderful journey.

Edgy and relevant. Surprisingly well executed given limited budget. I found the film disturbingly visceral and am sure it will have it's fair share of detractors. Otherwise, enjoy a film from an alternative media source, the Daily Wire.

Its a very engaging movie. You will be entertained and be rooting for the main character the entire time. The acting was better than I expected from some younger not so known actors and actresses. See for yourself and ignore the critics.

I couldn’t turn away from RUN HIDE FIGHT and didn’t so much as check my texts during the almost 2 hours of this movie. Spoiler Alert: This is Definitely not a Christian produced film as it is gritty [violence, profanities, a partial nudity, and Biblical theological inaccuracies] but even so, it does show loving sacrifices made by caring people, Christian and non-Christian characters alike to overcome evil. In our current societal climate, this film has it's place as it could be used as a teaching tool for parents, school staff and "Powers that Be" to prepare all those who may be interested in enhancing school security/defense. It also conveys an insight to what may be seen/heard, the spirit and mentality behind such attacks, and the mindset needed to counter it and prevail.
