This is the best movie from the franchise! Alice is an great character and Claire is so good too. The climax is amazing. The best way to finish the story!

bad editing but a very solid movie, climax, story , cast, soundtrack setting are great. its really sad, that there is such a bad editing, but i would recommend this movie!

Now after watching whole RE franchise, I have come to realise that the creator of this franchise doesn't know how to create sequels. I mean, beginning of every movie is different from where previous one ended and then there was some childish reason for this. Jump cuts, shaky cams, and muzzle flashes galore i was physically sick by the end as well as all the characters from the last movie are missing like leon, ada, and few others.

I wasn't expecting much, but I still left disappointed.

After the first minutes I simply wanted to leave the cinema. The movie starts with the jump scare. The screen start's shaking, we have cuts every 1-2 seconds, making it extremely difficult to figure out, what is actually happenning andI wasn't expecting much, but I still left disappointed.

After the first minutes I simply wanted to leave the cinema. The movie starts with the jump scare. The screen start's shaking, we have cuts every 1-2 seconds, making it extremely difficult to figure out, what is actually happenning and the sound levels are just absurd. Unfortunatelly, that turns out to be the theme of all of the jump scares (and there is plenty of them), and most action scenes.
We have some glimpses of the story here and there, but nothing significant untill the end of the movie. Characters are extremly bland, and all the new ones simply serve as cannon fodder. Gore is all over the place, to the point where it looks more silly than scary or disguisting. To make everything worse, the movie ends with a scene, that suggests that we might get another sequel.

The Final Chapter isn't satisfying as the grand finale of the series, disappoints as the action movie and is simply inferior to the previous parts. Major disappointment.… Expand

This movie wasn't that great I think it was the worst film in the franchise. The commercials on tv showed the best parts but hid the rest of the terrible parts of the film.

Il y a des hauts et des bas dans la franchise Resident Evil au cinéma et plus souvent des bas d'ailleurs, mais là c'est le pompon ! à croire qu'ils voulaient conclure la saga morte-vivante régulièrement ressuscitée à coups d'électro-chocs comme une merde et à cet égard, l'objectif a étéIl y a des hauts et des bas dans la franchise Resident Evil au cinéma et plus souvent des bas d'ailleurs, mais là c'est le pompon ! à croire qu'ils voulaient conclure la saga morte-vivante régulièrement ressuscitée à coups d'électro-chocs comme une merde et à cet égard, l'objectif a été rempli.

On passe sur les pirouettes scénaristiques et les rebondissements à l'emporte-pièce (dès le début déjà !), on passe l'éponge volontiers sur le côté nanaresque (marque de la série, il est vrai) mais ce chapitre final n'est tout simplement pas regardable : c'est en effet filmé n'importe comment et pour donner une idée, il s'agit de la méthode Jason Burne version Greengrass appliquée à Resident Evil mais sans Matt Dacon.

Ainsi est-on éclaboussé de plans épileptiques, d'un montage saucissonné pur porc, d'une caméra à l'épaule, d'autres caméras atteintes de la maladie de Parkinson et d'un abus de zooms durant ce merdier épouvantable. On secoue tout ça très fort et on le régurgite à la gueule du spectateur : c'est tout simplement insupportable. Poubelle !… Expand
