The mindset of the characters were really interesting to developp. It's not the same James Bond we usally love, its a more mature one maybe more heartbroken than ever but at the end, it's my favorite one ! Minus point to the Madeleine story, she wasnt the dasmel in distress but the direction of her arc was a bit archaïc. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It was a fantastic film. Great way to cap off the Daniel Craig legendary era. Despite the extremely sad ending the movie still contained great plot twists and followed that unique bond style, however still having a different take compared to any other bond film which made its authenticity a genius masterpiece. Overall, a beautifully constructed film and enjoyed dearly. 10/10 Expand

If you can stomach it, take it as an Independent movie with James Bond as the lead role... well, kind of different from the oo7 films we have seen and used to. Visuals are as usual stunning throughout the movie. It was a pleasure to witness homage to the gadgets in the car. There are enough thrilling scenes added to the nostalgia of a Bond movie. A strong villain was always the backbone of Bond films, but, here the build up was amazing, yet failed to creatively craft the villain, or his strength. That was the biggest drawback of the film, among other few things. Expand

Great send off for Daniel Craig. The movie isn't perfect but it's definitely up there as one of his better Bond performances. Wish we would have had more screen time with Ana De Armas.

It’s not as good as Casino Royale or Skyfall, but it’s certainly better than Quantum of Solace and Spectre. Hits all the fun Bond tropes, while still keeping that grittyness from the Daniel Craig era. Even the side characters left me wanting more, without completely stealing the show.
My only complaint is, I wish the main villain had more screen time!

As expected, it is grand in scope with lush visuals and locations, on par with the best in the series. Cary Fukunagga directs well, even if he doesn’t have the same spark as Mendes or Campbell. There is nothing in this film that is quite as impressive or memorable as some of the previous instalments, and I found the pacing to be somewhat clunky, but there is more than enough here to love. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. SPOILER ALERT. I will start by say this movies greatness is unfortunately over shadowed by once again demonstrating the left wing snow flake propaganda is alive and well in the movie biz. Please, its not an opinion when its so obvious. They kill off James Bond? MGM can suck it. Killed off to have his 007 number now replaced by an Afro American woman? Is she trans too? Lets cover all the bases. Its obvious again they have to give her 007 to make a point not some other double 00 marker. This is not a race thing but appears Hollywood is truly the racist. All it whats to do is make you see color. This is the end of an era. I was raised to see the person not the color. The millennial socialist regime is now running the studios. Im surprised her name isn't Jane Bond. Cancel culture at its finest. Mark my words, the next 007 movie will be the biggest flop. People want to James Bond, not 007. Orwellian times are here. Expand

This was never the Brosnan era with stand alone adventures and zero consequences, and grown up themes are reflected here.

Genuinely intrigued where they will take the franchise next.

You MUST watch Spectre before this one! This one is its sequel.

If you generally like 007 you'll like this one. It also has the best Bond girl ever!

But Ana de Armas was fantastic as Paloma, and I wish we had gotten to see more of her. Without giving away any surprises, this movie has a finality that feels a little out of character for the Bond series, but I can see why the producers did it. Spectre, in my opinion, would have been a suitable sendoff for Daniel Craig. Expand

Cars, gadgets, girls, and Bond just being awesome. Cary Joji Fukunaga directs this film with some style and the action sequences are one of the best of the franchise. The opening car chase is gripping as hell, the Cuba sequence is so much fun and the staircase shootout is very intense. Everything is gorgeously filmed and you can savor every second of the action. Fukunaga's handling of the character scenes are also very attractive, with some genuinely emotional scenes not really expected from the Bond series. Linus Sandgren's cinematography is glorious with some gorgeous scenery reminding me of La La Land and First Man. One of the few disappointments in the film is the villain played by Oscar winner Rami Malek. After the extremely effective horror like opening, he completely disappears until half way into the film and even then he rarely becomes interesting. Even if Malek is a great actor, he is just not given alot to do. The film is too long however and some of the dialogue scenes especially ones involving Malek does drag. The divisive ending is heartfelt and beautiful in my opinion and Daniel Craig truly ended on a high note. He is the best Bond in my opinion and he is glorious as Bond one last time. I saw this film 4 times in theaters and it is a film I won't forget. Expand

Pelicula increible que cierra la saga de Daniel Craig como Bond; Aun así el villano mediocre y una trama estereotipada hacen que tropiece y se tambale. Pero finalmente cierra de forma épica y concluye una de mis películas y actores favoritos.

I personally love this movie and all the kickbacks to all the original movies. It was great. I think they did a great job in finally closing off the series. I just hope they don't make the new 007 a woman. That would ruin the franchise.
