Four generations of a family come together for their annual Christmas Eve celebration and almost every one of them has a story line: the geeky teenager's first kiss, the emotionally shutoff daughter, the jealous sisters, the couple on verge of a divorce announcement. You get the idea. Although the performances are decent and some of the individual moments are effective, the deluge of earnest conversations and vulnerable confrontations overloads any charm. And forget any laffs. The movie has noble intentions and an inevitable feelgood finale, but this turkey won't make it til Christmas.… Expand

Love The Coopers is the worst movie to start the Holiday Season. The film is a boring and clichéd attempt at a good Christmas movie, and the result is just awful.

Most depressing holiday movie ever. Almost walked out. Boring and morose. Holiday movies are supposed to be uplifting and enjoyable, not sad and depressing

"Love" The Coopers will make you Hate The Coopers. And it's not because they do the same thing you see in other movies, but it's because you see the characters getting more stupider and stupider throughout the film. It offers nothing new, it"Love" The Coopers will make you Hate The Coopers. It offers nothing new, it doesn't make you like at least one, and the actors here are big but for some reason it makes them a fail in movies. This Christmas comedy just fails to blow in anything new. Instead, we're all being suffered while watching this movie. Love the Coopers.... hate isn't an option and no one wants hate in Love the Coopers.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I saw this movie and the plot was worse than why batman and superman were fighting in Batman v Superman. The story is unfunny with too many cheesey jokes about republians. Also this story talked about the adults in their past and then comparing it to the present. Also every single character in this movie is used for comedic releif. Also there are sisters that look 40 years apart… Expand
