This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Not as good as the legendary Jurassic Park but I enjoyed it I was certainly entertained. I liked that they brought back some of the original cast and that they played an integral role to the movie rather than just cameos. I'm also very glad they brought back Maisie she's my favorite character in the entire series she makes us wonder if cloned humans are people who deserve to be treated same as any human or are they just worthless shadows who should be condemned and used for organ farming.… Expand

Yes, it's a hot mess of a film. But it does several things right, starting with bringing back the original characters including Dr. Grant, Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm, and Henry Wu. And not just in fan-servicing cameos, but as major playersYes, it's a hot mess of a film. But it does several things right, starting with bringing back the original characters including Dr. Grant, Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm, and Henry Wu. And not just in fan-servicing cameos, but as major players in the plot. The chemistry is great between them and also with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The girl playing Maisie is unfortunately another flat, humorless, and wooden actress in the mold of Daisy Ridley (Rey from Star Wars). Great shout-outs to the original movie, like the Barbasol can and the characters stuck in a jeep that's either rolling down a hill or being swatted around by a hungry dinosaur. Several fun action scenes. The plot is absurd, and the idea of dinosaurs running loose in the wilds and roaming our city streets would be complete chaos in the real world, not to mention the end of countless mammals in our ecosystems. It would also bring camping to an end as a pastime. Sure, let's go to Yellowstone, just keep an eye out for those raptors! Henry Wu is given more to do in his return, which was nice to see. While silly, the film is consistently entertaining, which puts it ahead of a lot of recent action/fantasy films and shows (Star Wars, Marvel, cough). A fun two-plus hours.… Expand

I dont get why people are so angry at this movie. You know what you are going to watch, yes its a Dino movie, you expect action good effects and nice cast. The amateur public comments miss the point to enjoying this movie: the theater is not the place to see it. It's too long and you're in a damned theater, and theaters dno't lend themselves to 2 hours and 25 minutes strapped in your chair. Jurassic World Dominion is an awesome science fiction action film that ends the series in a high note. And takes the Jurassic Park film which it never has been there before. Feeling different from the previous films. Which some may enjoy or some will miss the nostalgia of being back in the island with dinosaurs.

The plot follows with people trying to coexist with dinosaurs. Some are amazed by the creatures living among them. While others are breeding and using them for an evil agenda. The plot follows Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) who are living in hiding and trying to keep Maise (Isabella Sermon) safe. After the previous film and discovering her secret. While Ellie (Laura Dern) discovers prehistoric locusts that are destroying the farm fields and can be leading to our extinction. Which she enlists Alan (Sam Neill) and Ian (Jeff Goldblum) to help out and find out who is behind that. Which are the same people that Owen and Claire are looking for after they kidnap The raptor Blues baby.

The plot has a couple of storylines that intercept and feels different than previous films. Which makes it feel like a globe trotting action thriller as Claire and Owen come across hybrid mixed raptors that are weaponized to attack certain people. Leading to a motorcycle chase scene in Malta.

The action sequences are awesome. The visual effects are great. The cast ensemble is great. Its nice to see the original trio Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum back in action. I also love they brought one original character from the first movie back into the mix as a villain in this film. If your a fan of the series when the name is popped up. You will easily recognize. The film music score is also great.

For a long running time with the movie. It does feel fast moving and short with the movie running into one action set piece to another. Overall, the film is one fun big blockbuster thats best to see on the big screen..… Expand

This movie is over hated. While definitely far from perfect in terms of quality, just relax and watch this movie for the dinosaurs and the action which in my opinion is still pretty solid.

I actually liked it. It had an unusual "Uncharted" and "Star Wars" vibe through out the film which is not common with previous movies. Bu that was fresh.

Whatever this strange science-fiction, spy thriller, globe-trotting dinosaur adventure picture is, it feels like a far, far cry from Michael Crichton and Steven Spielberg’s vision of Jurassic Park.

In the Jurassic Park 1993, none of the dinosaurs change into form, but the behavior that the characters emit in front of it creates an image of them in the mind. Maybe that's why we hardly feel such a void. . The most powerful sequence of jurassic world 2022 is when one of the dinosaurs looks at the surface of the water,like the most powerful sequence of jurassic park 1993 when looks at the car. Here too, none of the dinosaurs transform into a form.The brilliance of Spielberg to definition of the narrative covers the Plot's flaws in Jurassic park. Of course, I think that after some time, Spielberg himself came to the conclusion to use the sense of humor, but this sense of humor or caricature or darkness or the softness aspect should be done in the form of dinosaurs. Not to make dinosaurs that look too natural and serious while deflecting the sense of humor in a different angle.
The action senses related to the Clare are perfect ; the rest

The movie is very entertaining for the most part. The spectacle is there, some charm of the characters are there, and the action set pieces are very well done. It is purely more of an action adventure film. The first act is very messy but the Malta sequence in the second act is absolutely riveting. Michael Giacchino's score is fantastic as always especially during that Malta sequence. I love the new Biosyn theme, as well as the Giganotosaurus motif. The visual effects are dazzling and the designs of the new dinosaurs are stunning as well. The Maisie Lockwood subplot is somewhat mediocre and doesn't have much weight unfortunately. The movie is too long and some of the dialogue scenes with the Dodgson character as well as the main protagonists just drags sometimes. I saw it 3 times in the theaters already and I don't understand why people seem to dislike the film so much. It's competently done popcorn entertainment and I really enjoyed the hell out of it.… Expand

Jurassic World Dominion is an underrated masterpiece that does thing that I like about the series. The storytelling and the pacing are the only issue with this masterpiece. And it is better than Fallen Kingdom.

I don't understand all the bad reviews? This isn't a movie that's winning Oscars for best movie, it's a Saturday afternoon popcorn movie and it delivers if you go into it with that in mind. A lot of gun action in the beginning for a movie that didn't need it. A lot of open holes that took time to fill in but once the first 45 minutes or so were over, it was a great ride the rest of the way. Whilst certainly far from perfect, Jurassic World Dominion certainly delivers on scares, thrills and spills. Bringing an end to the Jurassic era that began way back in 1993, it’s full of nostalgia and covert (and not so covert) nods to the original Jurassic Park.

Bringing back original cast members Sam Neil, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum to join original Jurassic World cast members Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Isabella Sermon is a master stroke, and seeing them all together on screen again just feels right in a film that serves as a finale to the Jurassic era. Admittedly the dialogue is forgettable and cliche at times, though there are plenty of humour and classic lines throughout too - Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm serves up the majority of these, and they never fail to raise a smile.

Of course, the dinos are the main feature, and to see them in our own world for the first time is both surreal and at times a little jarring, a fantastic chase scene set in Malta with Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady taking centre stage is a particular highlight, but you will feel exhausted by the end of it, and a tense scene with Bryce Dallas Howard’s character Claire later on set in the jungle will leave you exhausted but in a completely different way. Again, it’s tense and exciting, with just the right amount of fear, just like a Jurassic movie should make you feel.

I’ll not spoil the plot here, you could argue it’s slightly too long. It’s never boring however, as long as you don’t take it too seriously and just go along for the ride. Spectacular action sequences litter the film over its two and a half hours, and with plenty of emotional punches, slightly grim humour and endless nods to previous films (some obvious, others not so).

Overall, I feel Dominion is an excellent end to the series, and a positive step up from the disappointment of Fallen Kingdom. Dinosaurs, screaming and scares aplenty - 8/10… Expand

I saw the movie in IMAX 3D and what a ride it was! A bit like a Bond movie with dinosaurs. I dont get the bad reviews here. I actually really enjoyed this one. I think it's the second best JP/JW movie made thus far. If you think it's boring, random, all over the place perhaps you need to re-visit the source material.

Loved this movie! I watched the first JP movie for my birthday when I was my son’s age and now we watched this on for his birthday. Really enjoyed the references to the earlier movies! This iteration is a great addition to the series!

What an absolutely amazing movie. Loved seeing the old cast back! Action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat! A few scenes did not make sense and the audience was left to their own imaginations. Would definitely recommend seeing this!

Goes without saying, I'm a huge Jurrasic Park fan. I just saw this movie on Saturday with my wife, and we both absolutely loved it! First off, they did a really good job bringing back the original characters and blending their storylines with the new cast. The dialougue between them, the way they interacted, was really well written and well acted. The writers were careful to pay their respects to the original cast. They didn't rush any scenes. They spent time on each scene/gave time for things to develop. They were in "true character/how they would have acted in the originals. This means everything to fans! Well done! Also, we were so happy to see how they added to the original characters' storyline, as I am sure other fans are also (I won't spoil anything :)). GREAT action, the actors have good chemistry, and it ties up all loose ends from all the movies!… Expand

'Jurassic World Dominion' is far from perfect, if just about entertaining to watch... kinda.

I'm not fully convinced by it but I do think there's enough in there that's worth watching. There are too many characters, even main characters with'Jurassic World Dominion' is far from perfect, if just about entertaining to watch... kinda.

I'm not fully convinced by it but I do think there's enough in there that's worth watching. There are too many characters, even main characters with the original trio and the newer duo both involved equally. With that said, I do like 'em. It's pleasant to see Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, while Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are a good pairing.

Still, I wouldn't say any one character stands out here. They all make their presence known, though I'm struggling to remember any great moments individually - that's due to the aforementioned surplus. The rest of the cast, fwiw, are all fine - Mamoudou Athie sticks out most in that regard.

The run time is overlong, in my opinion. I personally could've done without 30 or so minutes and I wouldn't have felt it was missing anything. The story itself isn't all that fresh, as in I feel like I've seen this sorta thing before (I mean, Biosyn... how creative!), but the barrage of dinosaur-centric action probably just abouts tips it over into a positive rating for yours truly. Could easily be lower, though.

I'd love for this to be the end of the Jurassic franchise (is there much more to tell?) but there ain't no way Amblin/Universal are leaving this IP to collect dust, let's be honest.… Expand

The point was the immense nostalgia, and if you can’t enjoy all the original Jurassic Park cast members (4+) contributions, then you’re missing out. So many moments of nostalgia it could have written itself. For example, when the guy dropped the shave bottle. When Malcolm buttoned up his shirt. The T Rex battle. All to go back to that first movie. Would I have done it differently? Of course. I’d have removed the girl and the locusts. Given it much more suspense, and actually had it revolve around the seriousness of the worlds ecosystem. That is one they explain how the auction escape led to an entire planet of dinosaurs overnight. For those saying how did the Dino’s escape, well that’s obvious they were always being sold, transported, flown around. There was a whole illegal market. I say it’s a much watch to have closure.… Expand

It's obvious that it wouldn't be like Jurassic Park, but it didn't disappoint, quite the opposite, it went beyond my expectations. Electrifying and exciting. I'm glad I'm always blind to third party reviews.

If you're in the mood for a smart story, this movie is not for you, but if you're in the mood for big, dumb fun and laughable dino thrills, then Jurassic World: Dominion is definitely worth watching as an entertaining comfort film.

In the end I have to say that it didn't really feel like a 3D film. I only realized at the end of the film that I had 3D glasses on the whole time XD.

It was a lot of fun to watch. There were many throwbacks and easter eggs that fans would understand. Many many dinosaurs. Lots of action. More screentime for the original cast. It definitely Rode off nostalgia and fan service but It still was really cool seeing the old cast unite with the new cast. I went in expecting it to be really Dumb but fun And turned my brain for the movie and it was exactly what I was expecting. However the movie Dragged in the middle In Malta when it turned into an action movie for a little but picked back up in the valley scenes. The new characters were surprisingly likable too. A lot better than Jurassic Park 3 and Fallen kingdom and definitely on par with lost world in terms of plot with a lot more fan service thrown in. The CGI, Practical effects, stunts and set pieces were really Good too.… Expand

They were smart to use new locations and take the story to Europe, and after five movies, you do have to consider in what other ways these experiments and scientific break-throughs affect the world - hence the locusts and Maisy plotlines. You can play the same cards only so many times! I personally enjoy the personification of the dinosaurs as well… it lends the story more complexity, they’re not just the pure evil antagonists. It also pushes to consider our morality. Is it realistic? Probably not, but again, what is realistic in dinos coming alive?… Expand

From the beginning to the end of the movie, there are tons of action-packed scenes to keep you literally jumping for more. Fans of the Jurassic Park franchise will not be disappointed. Jurassic World Dominion centers around two different storylines. On one hand, Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon), a teenager, who happens to be a clone of her biological mother, is kidnapped and taken to a company called Biosyn to become a science experiment so scientists can learn how her biological mother created her. On the other hand, her parents, Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), set out on an adventure to rescue her. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) is suspicious of the works of Biosyn and its animal experiments, as well as its attempt to take over the food chain. She brings in Alan Grant (Sam Neill) to help her stop Biosyn from taking over. The two storylines eventually combine for one suspenseful adventure that happens to take place all while dinosaurs are threatening the characters' existence. The main characters in this film are Maisie, Claire, Owen, Alan, Ellie, and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). There are references and character appearances from other movies in the Jurassic Park franchise. I enjoyed seeing how characters from different parts of the film join together to save Maisie and end up trying to save each other and become a family while working together. There are some funny scenes throughout the film, and I loved seeing the characters communicating with the dinosaurs and even making them promises. The movie takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as you root for the good guys to not only survive but to win.
This film touches on family and whether or not dinosaurs and humans can co-exist. You’ll have to watch the movie to find out. While I highly enjoyed Jurassic World Dominion, this film may not be suitable for people who have certain fears/anxieties or even suffer from PTSD. Parents should look out for scenes with extreme violence, gory deaths, and loads of jump scares. I give Jurassic World Dominion 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for kids ages 12 to 18, plus adults. There are basically two plot lines, each one involving either the Jurassic Park characters or the Jurassic World characters. Their individual missions coincide at the same place at the same time. It is a popcorn flick for sure. Many Action sequences, and characters with plot armor. But that is something I was used to by the other Jurassic World movies. Dialogue was not THAT annoying. I mean, there were two times I rolled my eyes and thought WTF, but it didn't sour the whole scene. All in all, I think, if you enjoyed the other JW movies, you'll have a great time. Just don't expect it to be Jurassic Park - that movie is a classic.… Expand

It is the highly anticipated sixth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise. In Dominion, we find out whether the dinosaurs, who were released into the world at the end of Fallen Kingdom, have been integrated into the greater society and what effect their presence has on the broader ecosystem. It’s been almost 30 years since we were first introduced to dinosaurs in modern times; but, six films later, are we still in awe of the scientific feats of DNA splicing and cloning? Here’s whether going back to Jurassic World is worth all of that anticipation.

Jurassic World: Dominion brings back Owen Grady (Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Howard), who are raising the teenage clone, Maisie Lockwood (Sermon). They are protecting her from evil corporate interests who seek to capture and study her for their own nefarious reasons. Also, Elli Sattler (Dern) and Alan Grant (Neill) are back to investigate a potential ecological disaster brought on by genetically modified locusts rabidly devouring the world’s crops. Then, there is Ian Malcolm (Goldblum) and Ramsay Cole (Athie) as fixtures of the corporation, Biosyn, which is at the center of all of these machinations. There’s also a dynamic pilot, Kayla Watts (Wise), and a manipulative CEO of Biosyn, Lewis Dodgson (Scott). Oh man, did I forget anything? Um… prehistoric ravenous hijinks ensue.

Okay, as you can see, there is a lot going on in Jurassic World: Dominion. It’s not necessarily complicated, but it is a lot to follow. These Jurassic Park movies always have a bit of an issue getting bogged down explaining the science of this all. In Dominion, they have to talk about genetic splicing and cloning and ecology, and it just goes on and on. Sattler and Grant are focused on stealing the DNA of these destructive locusts to prove that Biosyn is evil. Owen and Claire are focused on protecting Maisie from Biosyn. In a sense, it feels like so much is going on that there is not enough time for the characters to run and scream from the dinosaurs. That’s the unfortunate part if you really like that aspect from the original.

Despite these reservations of the plot, the movie does have its exciting parts. There are dinosaur chases through the streets, through the jungle and through the Biosyn facilities. DeWanda Wise plays a tough-as-nails, wisecracking pilot, who seems to be the most competent of all of our characters. She gets good one-liners and has a magnetic personality. Her presence adds a lot of energy to what could become stale. I’ll also note that the legacy characters of Sattler, Grant and Malcolm give exactly what you want. It’s like no time has passed at all. The nostalgia is very high and they effectively scratch that Jurassic Park itch.

Ultimately, Jurassic World: Dominion is an enjoyable, escapist summer blockbuster. The problem here is that there is too much going on and it doesn’t exactly all come together. There are probably too many characters that distract from the main attraction – the dinosaurs. Nevertheless, there are good dinosaur chases and exciting moments with a great new character played by DeWanda Wise. While I wouldn’t call Jurassic World: Dominion essential, it certainly is good enough for a matinee viewing, so get your bowl of popcorn.… Expand

Look, I'll be the first to tell you this is nothing more than a bunch of stupid Hollywood blockbuster refuse, but I'm also not going to sit here and act like it isn't any fun either. A transformation of sorts was to be expected given howLook, I'll be the first to tell you this is nothing more than a bunch of stupid Hollywood blockbuster refuse, but I'm also not going to sit here and act like it isn't any fun either. A transformation of sorts was to be expected given how Fallen Kingdom ended, but I doubt anyone could have predicted as big of a reinvention as this. The Jurassic Park/World series has been rendered almost entirely unrecognizable were it not for the prehistoric monsters running around onscreen, and not because they are now living among everyday humans. Rather, it's due to Dominion's absolutely LUDICROUS storytelling.

To say the plotting jumps the shark here would be putting it incredibly mildly. The narrative reaches near The Asylum levels of nonsensical as it covers every outlandish sci-fi concept from women giving asexual birth to genetically modified versions of themselves, dinos that are trained to attack via a laser pointer, to mad scientists hell-bent on world domination (or its destruction). Why they felt the need to concoct a tale this absurd, convoluted, and undeniably dorky I have no idea, but it did leave me glued to the screen in a sense of delirious fascination regardless while it seemed the writers were simply throwing whatever wild idea they had up there next just to see what would stick.

The sheer B-movie ridiculousness of the whole thing will (and already has) turn many off on this. Especially since it's part of a franchise that initially kicked off with a bit more gravitas. Personally though, it didn't bother me much at all. That's because I've only ever really turned up to these to watch dinosaurs chase and eat people in the first place, so it's hard for me to fault a film offering that too much so long as the thrills are in place. And oh boy, let me tell you, they are. The body count is disappointingly low, but that was offset for me by the constant excitement of witnessing some never-before used species and the protagonists' near misses with them, like the glorious extended getaway sequence through the streets and underground black markets of Malta. I wish they had continued the globetrotting around populated cities throughout the entire running time rather than retreating to another isolated research facility/haven location in the second half.

Of course, Dominion also falls back on the modern cinema trapping of trying to get by on nostalgia pandering as well by bringing back the original three heroes of the 1993 hit and its first two sequels. Some of the resulting callbacks can feel a touch gratuitous, the main villain's death being extremely similar to Nedry's for example, yet their inclusion ultimately fixed my biggest issue with this movie's most direct predecessor by finally giving me individuals I actually care about to watch as opposed to the bland nobodies who have been carrying the show up to this point since its revival. The real stars however are the various 'saurs on display. I think a far too underappreciated aspect of the World trilogy has been its ability to turn these creatures from bloodthirsty beasts into complex and thoughtful animals capable of striking a chord with the audience. There are some genuinely moving moments with them such as a scene with two Apatosauruses in a lumberyard that hits with the same impact as when Alan Grant first saw that Brachiosaurus all those years ago. They even have feathers now for all you nitwits who couldn't let that go.

I won't pretend this is a deep, high-quality experience. It's dumb, turn-your-brain-off junk food filmmaking at its most overblown and preposterous. Pure, unhealthy garbage that if I'm being totally honest was a blast to consume. In ironically hilarious fashion director Colin Trevorrow made several conscious efforts to correct the various shortcomings of Jurassic Park III by reuniting Sattler and Grant, and once again establishing the T-Rex at the top of the food chain after its pitiful showing in that outing, but inadvertently made something fans will view as a much greater piece of trash. Although at the end of the day it'll always be a minor treasure to me. I recognize that the franchise should have never been allowed to reach such a confounding low in terms of intelligence and respectability. I guess I'm just easily pleased by cheap spectacle, the amusing comments of Ian Malcolm, and the stunning CGI sight of my favorite animals as a child (and probably still now).… Expand

Dominion is criticised for its meshing of two separate plots together and whilst I agree that there was too much preparation for the merge of the stories, I don’t see it as a huge problem with this film. For me the worst part about the film was the soundtrack, a lot of the music just seemed off. And a few sloppy lines of dialogue from the actors/actresses are noticeable but apart from that, I found this movie pretty fun and interesting.

It’s not what people expected from this ‘finale’ but I like the idea and the direction they went for this movie. The characters feel right for the movie. Franklin's character was hugely improved, as was Claire. Maisy is hit or miss but I was fine with her portrayal and the new characters, especially Ramsey were great.

As for the dinosaur scenes, I think the vast increase in new dinosaurs was awesome! Lots of Giganotosaurus action which was great to see, and even Rexy got some good screen time. It’s a shame they cut the prologue to this movie, but the film is quite long so it is understandable, maybe they’ll have some more deleted scenes on the DVD release. Both the VFX and the Practical effects are well done, for the most part, you won’t notice any of the lesser quality CGI unless you really slow the movie down and this is just not fair to criticise because why would you slow down a fast-paced action scene to .25 of a second.

Overall, this film will divide opinions, I know many aren’t pleased with the film, especially critics. This is the first Jurassic movie since JPIII that attempts something that isn’t a complete remaster of an already produced story. I think that this movie is good, it has flaws but it’s better than fallen kingdom (a movie I actually enjoyed) and for that, it ranks as my third favourite movie of the 6, and it is certainly a fun movie to watch, I disagree with it being labelled as 'boring'.… Expand

The visual effects and animatronics for the dinosaurs were exceptional. The performances were pretty good specifically from Bryce Dallas Howard, Isabella Sermon, Campbell Scott, DeWanda Wise, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Mamoudou Athie. The writing specifically the screenplay was kinda cheesey at times when it came to some of the dialogue. The music was great. Overall a good movie and good end to the story.… Expand

It's a fun dinosaur movie that really excels in bringing back some of Jurassic Park's best hits. Unfortunately, it does little to deliver on its titular aspect and is instead once more set around a park (I guess it's a valley?)

Compared to previous films in the series, the dinosaurs feel the least threating, as barley anyone dies in the movie. It would have been far better if they did not include the locust storyline as it felt out of place and forced with the rest of the movie. With the exception of the Giganotosaurus, the new dinosaurs were all amazing additions. The Therizinosaurus was especially great, as well as some new prehistoric animals not included in the trailers. The main human villain was mediocre and forgettable. The Giganotosaurus was a disappointment and boring. The parts of the movie that do work, however, are amazing. The dinosaurs are by far the best part of the film. The inclusion of the original characters was also a welcomed addition. Overtime, hopefully others will warm up to Dominion.… Expand

This is a 1980s summer blockbuster ROMP! I enjoyed it. If you enjoyed any earlier episodes, you will enjoy this one too. You can safely ignore the critics.

I have seen no critics mention what's obvious to me as a writer. Maisie Lockwood is set up to be the lead for the next JP movie. A better script would have set-up better and expanded on the underground Malta dinosaur "cock fighting" scene and the ensuing escape of creatures. Sam Neil is again the trustworthy father figure of earlier editions. I responded to him. His best role?
Jeff Goldblum is again the guy you want to stick it to greedy corporations.
The script puts Bryce Howard in a grade B horror movie and leaves her there.
The direction really is bare minimum. My guess is once Trevor knew the film primarily serves the next installment starring Maisie, he just endured the live shoot and a year or more of daily VFX approval Zoom meetings.… Expand

The return of trio was amazing and there plots were decent, the kid and the parents adventure with the evil organisations involvement and the dinosaur outbreak it was decent and the execution specailly in action front is amazing, the raptor chasing scene and the 2 apex fight and here and there little dinos fight was awesome, the starting is slow and the 1st half was good 2nd half is good too and the ending as per usual although the way it ends felt incomplete as per series end. Overall its a decent movie great experience in imax visual and action pov although as per story little underwhelming.… Expand

A lot of fun and great to see the original cast in a new adventure! The only reason I don't give it a higher score is because the characters lack a dramatic arc, nobody changes, learns or makes hard choices, but that's why the original is a classic.

Of course, the action scenes pulled it off, which is a given for this franchise. On the one hand, it was nice to see old Jurassic Park characters return. Nothing epic or breathtaking for me. It was just good, like the whole movie. I enjoyed the final battle, although I thought it could have been a bit longer. But maybe there would have been too much action. Either way, a good movie for me. What the fans of the franchise think of it I don't know, but a friend of mine who is a fan had the same opinion, saying that it is a good movie and nothing more, and even as a non-fan I feel the same way. A good movie that I can recommend. It didn't impress but it didn't disappoint.… Expand

This is probably the 2nd best of the 6 Jurassic Park movies. Obviously Spielberg's original is on another level compared to anything else, so that goes without saying, but this one was at times a joyous, heartfelt ride. There are some action sequences that feel like something out of a Bourne movie, only with Dinosaurs giving chase, that are well executed fun. There are clunkier moments as they lay out the plot points, but this is done with considerable aplomb under the circumstances of the mess left behind by previous entries in the franchise. Somehow this one manages to bring back characters from the original without feeling like pandering or fanservice, giving them meaty believable arcs (considering the franchise with that statement), while also building a pretty solid core out of the previously awful characters of the last 2 films. Sometimes you have to take a film for what it wants to be, and if you do, I think many will agree that Jurassic World Dominion delivers on its promises.… Expand
