This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. There is gratuitous violence, and then there is John Wick 3. I would have walked out if I were not there with my girlfriend. This movie is meant to desensitize its viewers against the most horrible violence imaginable. Scenes are left in simply for the shock value at such incomprehensible gore. One is left with just a sick feeling of how so much death could be so glossed over in the movie. Personally, I couldn't keep watching as brains kept being sprayed all over the place for no reason other than to show it. We are left wondering...even in a movie where our disbelief is suspended, how exactly could these people be so horribly incompetent? John Wick kills 150 people, and walks away without a second thought at any point. About 50% of the dead could have easily killed Wick if they were even slightly competent or paying attention. By the end, characters practically break the fourth wall at glorifying Wick and passing up a free pass at having killed him. What happened to the $15M bounty? Why haven't they pulled the trigger? How stupid do they think we are? By the end, they don't even bother to dance around the incompetence anymore...it is as though the dead went into it knowing that their sole purpose was to add to the body count. We are told the killing is necessary because they are trying to kill Wick, but that ends up feeling like just a convenient excuse for 2 hours of pure, vacuous killing. The plot ends up feeling secondary, or tertiary even. This movie is BAD. Extremely bad. The quality of the cinematography does not make up for the absolutely senseless and unnecessary vacuous violence. The first film had a "cool" feel to it with the violence being just one part of the overall picture. By film #3, we are left with killing for the sake of showing killing. The cinematography does not make this movie an 8 out of 10, just like making a shiny, cool cigarette ad is not automatically quality film-making. This movie is essentially one big, glossy, cool cigarette ad with nonstop killing. It is a completely empty vessel with senseless violence. This is precisely the kind of drivel that society should be ashamed to glorify. Expand

Parabellum is an entertaining John Wick film, with some unbelievably great action scenes, but it drops the ball in the story/lore department.

The John Wick movies have always been about cartoony violence, beautifully choreographed combat, and high-octane action. If you thought the action scenes were over the top in the 2nd movie, then Parabellum raises the bar even higher. It's just ridiculous, in a good way. John Wick even kills his enemies with a book! Can you believe it? A book. And you thought killing with a pencil was merely an exaggeration.

I can't praise enough the part where John Wick works with Sofia (Halle Berry) and her trained dogs to fight against waves of enemies. I have never seen such an action scene before. The dogs were so obedient and effective as if you could command a pet in a videogame, and they weren't CGI either. It was marvelous.

However, Parabellum's story is a mess. I know, this series doesn't focus on storytelling, but still there was a core story and some character development for John Wick. This time he has no clear goal, he's being chased by every assassin, he's constantly on the run, desperately going from place to place. This mess shines the most when John Wick goes through a lot of trouble and makes a new promise, only to break it. It defeats the purpose of doing all this in the first place. Where is the strategist John Wick who planned every detail of his hit on Gianna d' Antonio and then survived the soldiers of Santino by planting guns to cover his exit in the second movie?

Also the 3rd movie fails to grow this series' fictional world like Chapter 2. The lore hinted at in the first movies was unique, but now they introduce mundane real-world elements such as the cutting of a finger to prove one's loyalty. Then we got a pathetic Adjudicator and the rather young Elder who runs the High Table. Both characters' logic is messed up, I mean would a member of a secret society obsessed with rules and loyalty really trust a traitor and just forgive them in an instant just because they say "sorry"? And guess what, there is no ending, no resolution, only a cliffhanger to set up a 4th movie. It all feels forced though, not organic. All these problems stem from the so-called franchise fatigue and bloat.

I definitely want to watch a 4th John Wick movie, but next time they'll need to bring a better and more focused story, and not just "lots of guns".

Is it sound design orLets contemplate about components of perfect action movie for a moment- What makes action movies special. Is it it's characters, is it ability to create fantastic choreography or maybe new, shiny special effects. Is it sound design or perhaps a good story ? What will elevate action movie to a new heights? What you need to do to create an instant classic? John Wick 3 creators might not have found all the answers but they definitely created something special and unique.

John Wick Parabellum is a direct continuation to the previous movie. It picks up just after 2nd movie finishes, just when John Wick is about to be made excommunicado. The first 20 minutes of the movie are really special and I enjoyed it immensely. John Wick needs to escape from the never ending wave after wave of assassins who try to collect very large bounty put on his head. In a city filled with assassins controlled by secretive yet very powerful and feared organization this is not an easy task. Assassins are everywhere here, on every corner of every street, which actually begs a question. Are there are any normal people left in the world?

The stunts from the start to finish were really special, some of them really unique and brutal. People were gasping in the cinema, me including. The sheer unfiltered violence and constant fight for survival, this movie does this well. There was even a fantastic sequence featuring German shepherds, the scene with the dogs added more excitement to brutal showcase of John Wick's and Halle Berry's gun skills. It felt like a continues shot, maybe even it was. When camera was rolling and following dogs attacking army of villains, this was very fluid and kept me on my toes from start to finish. Let me tell you this again, this movie does this sort of action really, really well.

Where it falls short is the actual story. There was an opportunity here to do more with the story, unfortunately it took a backstage here or maybe even left the fast moving Wick's car and stayed on the side lines as what we got here is a predictable plot with predictable twists and really not that interesting main character. Even Polar has better story than JW. John's motives are confused here, his choices do not make much sense and his strategic thinking leaves a lot to be desired. It does not work for John's benefit, it makes him rather not so special - a flat and shallow character, apart of amazing survivability skills he has nothing else to offer. Is he really just a blunt weapon, tip of the spear, instrument of destruction. What is the whole point of this destructive adventure? We have here this faceless organization, their cruel motives and ways, their world dominance. Movie fails to explain this to us more. The story and subsequently the movie is lacking depth !

Remember that this is a pure action movie, however special it is, misses this final piece of the puzzle in its attempt of becoming instant classic and is sadly just punching above waist, becoming average movie which will definitely entertain you but will leave you begging for answer and more, more sense and more emotions. I will keep it simple for you, If action is what you are looking for, you will not be disappointed here.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum takes place right after the second movie where John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, has killed a member of the high table and has a $14 million bounty on his head. Now he has to prove why everybody calls him baba yaga (boogeyman) as he fights to survive. First of all, I will say that this film has the best action scenes out of all three films. Not a lot of these scenes though had one shot takes but honestly I’m fine with that because they are still really entertaining to watch. I honestly have no clue how director, Chad Stahelski, can keep upping up these action shots but somehow he can and has. Keanu Reeves is still amazing as John Wick and just dominates it as this role. Although I didn’t like what they did to his character that just comes out of nowhere and doesn’t fit his character. I’m not the biggest fan of Halle Berry, who plays Sofia, but in this role she won me over. Especially because I learned that she actually did a lot of her stunts herself and went through the training. I will say that the middle section of this movie is really slow and pretty boring at times. During the middle section it slows down to a snail pace and it feels like it. It was at this point in time that I was considering lowering the review but then it redeemed itself with the finally. There is a subplot that ok I understand why it had to happen but in the end it wasn’t really necessary and just came in at awkward times. The editing in this film was awkward and how it transitioned from one scene to the next. There was no smooth transition it just awkwardly changed scenes. The music in this film is still great though and if anybody needs and epic soundtrack to work out to this soundtrack is perfect for that. I do wish that in one scene they included music. In the end, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is a great film for the first bit and ending but the middle section loses it for me. It does end with an idea for a fourth movie and I hope it will happen. I give John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum a 9.5/10. Expand

Back when the original John Wick’s trailer came out most people expected that it would just be your run of the mill revenge movie starring Keanu Reeves, just with a dog. But then it ended up being one of the best action movies of the pastBack when the original John Wick’s trailer came out most people expected that it would just be your run of the mill revenge movie starring Keanu Reeves, just with a dog. But then it ended up being one of the best action movies of the past decade, showing us great fight sequences in film at a time when Liam Neeson was still learning how to jump over a fence in less than 15 different cuts. Then John Wick: Chapter 2 came out, further raising the bar with even more ambitious fight choreography and expanding on the world of assassins. Now John Wick 3 cements the franchise as one of the most consistently entertaining action trilogies.

Starting less than an hour after the previous film, John Wick is on the run after after being given a 14 million dollar bounty on his head for killing one of the leaders of the assassins organisation, which every assassin wants a piece of. And it turns out there are a lot of assassins in the world, as no matter where Wick goes he’s swarmed by opponents at every turn, including armored SWAT teams, the villains from the raid movies and the host of Iron Chef. In a film that’s mostly non-stop action, it never gets dull or repetitive. In large part, this is because the filmmakers have a strong understanding on how to incorporate their surroundings into the film to add variety to these sequences. Largely this is because John Wick is able to improvise with using anything as a weapon, with John using knives, guns, motorbikes, dogs, books, his belt, horses and his own fists to keep each fight unique. Other times it’s just a strong understanding of how to shoot the sequence to keep the sequences kinetic and visually interesting. At the centre of this is Keanu Reeves himself, who put months of training to pull off some of these unbelievable sequences. Though a lot of credit also has to go to everyone behind the scenes for pulling off so many ambitious sequences. Especially for one sequence which takes place in a room made almost entirely from glass which had me genuinely wondering how they were able to perform these sequences without anyone getting seriously injured. As with the previous two films, these brutally fight sequences are often contrasted with just how insane this world of assassins are. Just like the previous films, there aren’t any expository information dumps and instead we just get to see how this world operates and understand the characters history through the way they interact with one another. This time we get to see how the chain of leadership works and how separate factions have developed amongst these assassins. A big part of building up this world comes from the supporting cast being filled with memorable personalities. The villains aren’t just one note psychotic villains, but instead they have a genuine admiration for John Wick and even end up fanboying when they get the chance to fight him. Even smaller roles like Jason Mantzoukas as the Tick Tock Man leave a memorable impression with relatively little screen time. Though the best addition is definitely Halle Berry. She’s essentially playing the female version of John, having also escaped the life of an assassin and who also has a keen fondness for dogs. She apparently did several months of both combat training and dog training, which she’s able to show off throughout her scenes in a big way.

Also this film franchise has convinced me that at least a tenth of the population in these films must be a part of this organisation since that’s the only way this world could function as it does in the film, which just makes it all the more entertaining. The world itself is so well developed that I’d even be open to seeing some spin-off movies following other assassins like Halle Berry for future films. Though I’m still hoping to see more from Keanu in these films since it does seem like his ideal role and if these films continue the way that they’re going, I expect that John Wick Chapter 4 will end up containing the most ambitious sequences yet.

Or whatever thing exists in job promotions today. Okay, the review. Out of all the movies I’ve seen in my career of reviewing them (whether it’s a classic or not),this may be the one that is deserving of the Taglines they put up.
“Every Action has a Consequence”
“He’s going to need guns. Lots of Guns”
Because John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum is,so far,the most fun you’ll have at the movies this Summer, and I truly mean it since this phrase was used for *insert early 2000 movie name here*. A third chapter that shares the same things a Set-Up Movie does, and makes those things enjoyable to watch:The fair share of villains, the big action sequences, lack of an actual story that is more used for exposition (although there’s really little to no exposition in this one…) and the ending that sets up a big universe or the next movie (intentionally done by director Chad Stahelski,so that Lionsgate can have its own “Marvel Cinematic Universe” of sorts. Especially with a Spin-Off show made by Amazon coming up).
As John Wick is now on the run from a malicious $14+ Million bid put up by The Continental Hotel,we see throughout the course of the movie that he is just a retired assassin who wants some rest, but can’t,because he always has to be on the loose.
Also,it’s not the big fat (and almost frustrating) Action Sequence that we had in Chapter 2. Sure, there’s action in it,but it never serves as a distraction from the main story.
And,as always, the amount of Camera work and Stunt work makes all those Action Sequences, once again, all the more enjoyable to watch, whether it’s John Wick throwing blades at the next person he meets or Halle Berry’s dogs murdering people while she shoots almost everything. They even make some fun advantages with the Horses in the movie, trust me. How disappointing that there was little of Keanu Reeves riding a horse while shooting people in the face.
Some of the villains and assistants, while threatening, can also be really funny to see on-screen and they make great advantage of them. I never knew I could hate a female villain just as much as how I hate Drago Bloodvist in HTTYD 2. Kudos,Derek Kolstad.
But OH HELL,if this movie has some big issues…
First off,I hate the action scene in Casablanca (the one with Halle Berry and the dogs). For as much enjoyable as it was,it was getting annoying really fast. How many henchmens are there?!? The whole Country?
And just like Chapter 2,the Action Sequences were almost as long, even if in this one they don’t take the spotlight too much. Somebody fire the guy who edited the trailers RIGHT NOW. Most of the 3rd Act is in that trailer and it’ll almost ruin the experience.
But overall,John Wick Chapter 3 is probably just as good,if not, great as the first John Wick, and it shares the title of “Best Set-Up Movie” alongside Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse. The ending is something you don’t want to miss, believe me.

P.S. Man,so much for these Set-Up movies nowadays… I guess the lesson here is “Don’t trust Universal when making these kinds of movies”? If it’s that, then FANTASTIC! :-D

Now on the run from the likes of every person he once trusted and knew, John has to venture into the deepest recesses of his past in order to conquer the current mess he's found himself in. Like its predecessor, this is most certainly a step or two removed from the primal emotionality that fuelled the first film. But in that same vein, it's also a significant step up in terms of set piece work, fight choreography, and gunplay. Every skirmish, shooting, and chase is filled with brilliant mechanics and effect work. And to top it all off, it's framed and staged beautifully by a veteran stunt performer turned director with a visceral appreciation for the art of designing action. It's another terrific achievement in action filmmaking and it should be seen. Expand

I liked John Wick 3 better than 2 but not as much as the first.

The action is not only better than one and two, it is some of the best in any film, period. There are some really unique kills and situations. I highly admire the fight choreographers as this must have required a ton of work.

The fighting isn't the only ingenious part here. John Wick's alternate reality crime world looks and feels distinctive. I found that the story and the organization's rules were refreshingly simpler here than the machinations in the last film.

Cast and characters are solid all around. Though Halle Berry is heavily advertised in the trailers, she's only in a part of this. However, she is a lot of fun in the scenes she is in. Though this is Keanu's movie, credit should also be given to Ian McShane and Lance Reddick, who remain the only other characters to appear in all three films, who bring a chill respectability to their roles as the manager of a hotel for assassins and his concierge. Over the films John has had a fine roster of physical opponents, but Mark Dacascos' Zero is the best villain yet in regards to both physicality and personality.

Now, you're probably wondering why I'm not giving this a higher rating. The right side of my brain would have liked to and absolutely loved this because of just the action. But, the left side of my brain can't help but be frustrated by the story. It basically ends the same way the last one ended as a set-up for the next film. There isn't real closure and it just doesn't feel like everything John goes through actually amounts to much.

It is also a little hard to root for John, who is on the run from the High Table, the ruling body of his criminal world, as he calls in favors and puts associate's lives and/or livelihoods in danger. The previous movie he brought this all on his head because he knowingly broke the rules as well as tried to shirk a favor he owed. Makes John hypocritical. However, I suppose he is supposed to be an anti-hero.

Also, I felt that some of the fight scenes could have been shortened. (John's fight with Zero's two best men, goes on especially too long.) For every cool move, you get another simpler move that is repeated too many times. So much grappling, so much grappling...

If you love the action of John Wick no matter what, you should definitely see this. It's just that if you're like me and were dissatisfied with the last film's plot, then treat this with a grain of salt.

Picking up very soon after John Wick Chapter 2 and John (Keanu Reeves) for anyone not familiar with this franchise, is on the run, excommunicado from the elite hitman’s guild and with a $14 million bounty on his head he is on absolutely everyone’s hit-list. What else do I have to say? You know what you’re getting with a John Wick movie and if you don’t have you been living under a rock? Get ready for the most over the top action movie you can handle. Mission Impossible and James Bond are one thing, they’ve got rules but John Wick has no rules, it’s all about the entertainment factor. John Wick, the legendary assassin who once killed a man with a pencil is back to kill even more people in more creative ways possible so settle down for 130 minutes of adrenaline fuelled madness.

And he’s back, more guns, more fights, more dogs, more blood, more everything. I remember seeing the first John Wick in the cinema, not expecting anything more than a generic action flick but it went beyond that. A simple revenge driven plot, with fight scenes expertly choreographed and filled to the brim with bone crunching action. And now with two more movies under his belt, John Wick is the franchise that keeps on giving. Endless ultra-violent fight scenes that will have you squirming in your seat. Everything so clear you don’t miss a thing, I can’t tell you how many action movies are ruined by bad camera work. Shaky-cam particularly to hide the violence, normally in favour of getting a lower age rating yes I’m looking at you Bourne 5. As soon as this happens I immediately lose interest but the John Wick franchise has raised the bar and increases the stakes with every movie. John Wick Chapter 3 brings everything to a new level. You don’t go to a John Wick movie for the acting, or the plausibility, for one thing a lot of the characters appear to be bullet proof, knife proof, sword proof. They’re borderline cartoon characters at this point but do we care? Hell no! We came to see Keanu Reeves kick ass and he certainly doesn’t disappoint. It doesn’t take itself too seriously but it’s everything a great action film should be and more because it’s Keanu Reeves that’s why. If I’m going to bother ranking these films I’d put John Wick Chapter 3 as not quite as good as the first one but better than the second. Highly recommended for all you Keanu fans out there.

So many horrendous mutations of the genre have tainted the pool, films like taken 2 and 3, die hard 5, watered down trash like that really takes its toll on the genre. But we can be grateful that a series like this exists, and that each instalment so far has been nothing but quality. Keanu is just a super cool action star. He may not have huge acting chops, but he is an excellent physical actor, and is second to none when it comes to putting in the effort for his roles. Not only that, but at 54 years of age, he still very much looks the part and shows no signs of slowing down. Hes a huge part of why these movies are so good. With john wick 3 we are treated to some of the most unapologetic, inventive and beautiful action scenes yet. I wont spoil anything, but the first half of this movie in particular has some of the most cringe inducing kills ever put to screen. Highlights involve a scene including horses, and a brutal library fight, followed by the most ridiculous knife kills i have ever seen in my life. Its art. The film slows down a little in the secone half, and there are some scenes that seemed a little pointless overall, but i enjoyed them as more of a breather and a break from the intensity. I cant get into it too much without spoiling things, so i wont. Just trust me when i say, if you are a fan of action movies with exceptional choreography and violence that isnt dumbed down, this is the movie for you. I loved john wick 2, liked john wick 1, and id say john wick 3 is atleast as good as 2 if not slightly better in its first half. Action simply doesnt get much better than this. We should be thankful for this trilogy, because movies like this are getting more and more rare. 10/10. Go see it. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Parabellum is an amazing feat of cinema and the best action film I've seen since the Raid 2. In fact it seems to be directly inspired by the Raid movies and even stars a couple of it's main actors.
The action is brutal, non stop and choreographed beautifully. It's a chase film and takes us to exotic locations as well as through the glittering, rain-soaked, Neon Streets of New York.
Two very minor gripes I had were...firstly, the gunfight scene on Casablanca felt a little bit contrived and unrealistic, more like a computer game than anything. Why the hell can none of these people shoot straight? Second issue was, why do two of the ninja assassins during the end fight scene stop their blades right next to John's neck, demonstrating that they could have killed him and thus allowing him to get the better of them ultimately? Was it out of respect for him maybe? Seemed a bit odd. Anyway, this is nitpicking. I was also a bit sketchy about the way they've made John Wick almost into a superhero. Some of the stuff he endures, there's no way he'd get back o up so quickly. What a movie though.

Having highly enjoyed the previous two films, I was definitely looking forward to this third outing. Keanu Reeves is just as awesome as ever! Can't praise the guy enough! And while it offers the same over-the-top crazy action that's come to be expected, I have to say that this one seemed to really expect me to suspend my disbelief more times than I could count. Characters in this film that very much should've died on numerous occasions somehow survive and defy death unexplainably to the point where it became ridiculous and I absolutely could not suspend my disbelief about any of it! (And this wasn't as near as big of an issue in the first two films.) The ending also felt rushed and half-baked and just begs for a sequel, which I'm honestly not sure I'm ready for given how this film made the whole premise of this franchise wear quite thin in my opinion. Overall, the action sequences are still undeniably impressive and Keanu's still great, but there's a fine line between suspending disbelief and completely implausible scenarios, and this film crossed that line a surprising amount, so if you can get past that, it's still a fun action flick, but it's definitely the weakest installment yet to me mainly for those reasons. Parabellum is a great third entrie but there's a big problem with it, but that problem is not about quality but focus.
This third installment doesn't feel like a real sequel. I say it because this time it doesn't feel like an evolution but it feels like an extension.

By starting the story just minutes after the end of the second part, the film takes the same rhythm and style of that film and although the story continues to expand the mythology of their world, the narrative cannot avoid the repetitive moments anymore.

But as I said that is more a question of the approach than of quality. And Parabellum has a huge quality. Again there's no pretense, this is just a great and solid frontal action film where the fight and shooting sequences are still spectacular. The choreographies are incredible and even with 54 years, Reeves continues to look like a total badass.

He is John Wick. He is this franchise and what has elevated him so much in the genre is that he's neither a hero nor an antihero.
He's just a hitman and an excellent one for that matter and for this story it's more than enough.

Like the second part, the ending is open and it's not that I'm against John Wick Chapter 4 but once again it feels like we're staying halfway.
I only mention it as a small observation.

Nonetheless, do yourself a favor and if you love action films go watch it without hesitation.

Heavily inspired by Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon. Yet it lacks the subtle artistic/cinematic visual communication that Bruce's expressions and movements contained.

This gives me two thoughts: The direction is unoriginal, and the action scenes add nothing to the story and cinema itself.

Story should be incorporated into the action scenes. John Wick 3 contains either only action scenes or 'talky' story scenes. The filmmakers are competent, but sadly cannot make a holistic or artistically sophisticated film.

The scenes of action and choreography are overcome with each film, it has the best ones of the 3 movies. The first 20 minutes are A DELIGHT. If there is something wrong that I must say is that it is only action and action again, in the end I was already tired of so much fighting after fighting; I would have liked a better script, because it lacks development and 2 hours 10 minutes seemed long at the end; they take off 20 and it looks good, or rather, they leave 20 but with a better plot development. Another thing is that they want to force Halle Berry's character, Sophia, to ask for more of her (by the way her dogs are amazing), they show her a lot and they take away Keanu Reeves's weight in the scene to get me a spin-off, but I prefer the Common of the second installment. And finally, they went through the verisimilitude of the film, there is one thing in the end that I do not buy. It is not the end of a trilogy, now is when it begins and we have a UNBOUND John for the fourth. I already want to see more. Expand

It picks up right where it left off at the end of the last movie and travels to a few foreign locales with beautiful scenery and atmosphere. It has issues in the last 20 minutes as it seems like the writers struggled to find a way that makes sense for a sequel and Keanu looked just plain tired but overall it was a worthy successor.

An action thriller fits Parrabellum perfectly. Beautifully organized fight sequences involving the best of gun fu and coloured lights define John Wicks signature style. A series built on style.
The gruesome violence is so stylized that it almost becomes dance. Keanu Reeves does an excellent job portraying the fearsome assassin John Wick and the group of employees at the Continental are as good as always. The third in the John Wick timeline adds a new depth to Chad Stahelski’s underworld. The Moroccan element adds a great worldwide feel to the Wick storyline. The ‘heroes’ of the story are amazing yet the villains I do not think much of. The high table seems to be the antagonist organization yet we see very little of it. The assassin villain Zero does not add anything new or interesting to the storyline but only seems to fail at being John’s worst enemy. He provides little more than a sword/bullet catcher to his counterpart John Wick. By far what I found the most interesting is how the John Wick series plays like a book or one long movie. They blend so well with each other that it is hard to discern them apart. So I can’t wait till John Wick Chapter 4!

The story in the third one gave me a feeling of repetition. The story of John Wick is not really moving forward. I love when action comes from characters. That's not always the case in PARABELLUM. Wick lacks depth as a character and when he reveals his motives - it feels forced but I do understand that the story is not king. Not in the case of John Wick Parabellum. Reeves keeps changing suits and still has managed to looks the same, the theme is so deliberately definite on terms of information, that you will have to keep digging more.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum

Stahelski believes in the old testament. Strong and mystical is his command over the world, so rich and highly detailed that even the flawed characters and textbook formulaic writing will be overpowered as you sink in this poised light-reflecting clean job. The director Chad Stahelski is probably breaking record by going against everyone's expectation on delivering a chapter of higher quality, this series has never seen a fall and it has been quite a journey. Round after round, this brawling brutal match is taking a toll on our host and we, shamelessly, as an audience keep wishing for more.

Plus, the series has a get out clause, in a sense that it will get support from both the corners. With an alluring picturization of the R rated mythology, the box office gets crowded for the universal physical language and the critics drool over the smoothness of the film, they took a simple formula and applied it on high quality filmmaking. From dragging in old tricks (they use chalkboards) and relying upon simple creatures, to visual effects finally coming alive in the film proving how advance the production has grown in this age and day; you don't have to float through space to drop your viewer's jaws or make their eyes pop.

Keanu Reeves, goofing around with his old time friend Stahelski, is pitching avant garde visions and Stahelski makes those dream come true, ergo, the narration had to be engaging- although the weakest character is Halle Berry's in here. This time the world that they have created inside ours, seems more complete as other characters gets a huge chunk of meat on their side. And with Reeves leading them on, with a bumper sticker John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, his still face, red enraging eyes and gutted screams undermines all the possible one-liners you can think of.

I watched it. This is what i think about it. It's bad. Whatever you call it: Netflix adaptation/idocracy/ Gun Circus. First chapter was convincing. Second one had some stupidity i've forgiven it for. Second one had some stupidity i've forgiven it for. But this time it comes to a moment when you just want to stand up and say: "That's not what i want to watch". A lot of inappropriate gags. Characters act retarded at some scenes. Film's atmosphere breaks too often with stupid character's actions. Even russian Brat 1/2 looks more convincing that JW3. There are a lot of jokes like "Wait a sec i'm gonna stand up and we fight" or like [FLIPS MORPHEUS]. And there was a scene where they got slugs and shotgun instead 5.56/5.45/7,62/5,7 or anything else with such motivation "We need armor piercing bullets". Excuse me armor piercing? Slugs? Gauge? I have no words. I could just forgive Wick's bulletproof suit just cause "Oh it's just a fairytale so everything looks cool". But when 90% of this is more like of fairy tale it's not JOHN WICK THE MOVIE. IT'S JOHN WICK FROM FORTNITE THE MOVIE. Totally surrealistic. Won't write spoilers. Camera moves great, cgi is KIND OF ok (no it's not. Blood splashes and other things sometimes feel like cheap indian movie.). All in all it's bad. I waited whole year expecting some AAA product. But i just got some raw burito. They wiped the whole first chapter by a little snap of their fingers. Just forget, burn and bury the idea of watching this movie. Expand
