Maisie williams is the high point of the film. Story isn't terrible. Not a big budget film but it gets the job done.lead isn't a terrible actor but definitely not the best as well.

It's a shame how this turned out. iBoy could have been an interesting flick in the superhero genre but the result is dissapointing. Visually is stunning, the director Adam Randall gives something valuable to the film despite the bad screenplay. On dirait bien "Watch Dogs, le film" avec ce jeune geek qui se retrouve à la grande insu de son plein gré hackeur de tout et n'importe quoi avec -pourquoi pas- le forfait "justicier dans ta cité de dealers" (profitez-en, c'est offert !) laOn dirait bien "Watch Dogs, le film" avec ce jeune geek qui se retrouve à la grande insu de son plein gré hackeur de tout et n'importe quoi avec -pourquoi pas- le forfait "justicier dans ta cité de dealers" (profitez-en, c'est offert !) la cité archi-classique où t'es obligé de raser les murs et baisser la tête devant la racaille.

Mais heureusement ça va changer, car Super Geek est là pour remettre un peu d'ordre et aider par la même occasion sa petite copine... Un peu lent à démarrer, à booter pardon, le film trouve ensuite son allure de croisière et se révèle de temps à autre bien drolatique dans ses situations ; la mise en scène et les effets sont de bon aloi et la musique électro est bien sympa...

Hélas, le "pouvoir" du geek ou plutôt "ses pouvoirs" prennent une étrange tournure qui brise la cohérence du propos, une cohérence que même les jeux Watch Dogs ont su garder malgré leur statut de simple divertissement qui ne vole pas forcément très haut -et ce n'est pas ce qu'on leur demande, de toute façon.

Dans le cas d'un film cependant, la cohérence est vitale et les raccourcis et facilités qu'il emprunte ici le fragilisent dangereusement ; dommage donc, car ça reste encore amusant mais trop superficiel et bêbête... finalement.… Expand

the movie do somethings right,the actors are fine, the cinematography actually looks good, but the problem stars when the screen play try to become a hardcore and super serious movie(in a ridiculous way). Is a shame, because if we disintegrate the movie there are specific points that are worth it, but in the whole unit it's a bad mixing of ideas that have worked well if they had known how to correctly carry the script… Expand

The whole movie had this dull feeling, like it had no introduction, no climax and no other acts.
The cinematography was above average with it's great looking subtle CGI's but nothing else.
Some characters where just to generic and acted irrational just to help the plot move forward. There where a lot of events that had no immersion and didn't suggest to the viewer that we should care about these events or characters. Overall it was an average movie at best which should have been made with this effort.… Expand
