Terrible. A species of Jar-Jar Binkses attack the planet. The central Jar-Jar befriends a creepy, ugly, zero-dimensional black girl who sounds like an adult Rihanna, who apparently is pretty far from being a voice talent. Than practically sitTerrible. Rated one, because zero's reserved for especially wretched movies.
The music sucks too. But I guess that's mandatory since they only have Rihanna providing the soundtrack.… Expand

The main alien "O" is pretty annoying. Even the kids seemed to find him more strange than funny. The little girl he befriends is creepy and weird, with a voice and demeanour of a 40 year old. And what kind of an idiot thought about a movie where a little kid drives a car? Don't show this movie to your kids. It'll sunt their learning ability I swear to god. Or it might encourage them to try driving your car. Who knows? All I know is don't waste you or your child's time on this.… Expand

This is the absolute worst movie I have ever seen. To all the people who said this movie was sooo good, have you read the book "The True Meaning of Smekday"? It is the book the movie was based on, and it was great! But this movie was nothingThis is the absolute worst movie I have ever seen. This whole movie is complete crap,nothing like the book, and altogether the worst thing to exist besides Happy tree friends. I don't wanna sound too harsh, but this film is probably one of the weakest films to come out of Dreamworks. And against films like Shrek 4 and Over the Hedge, that is saying something. But there are ways in which it doesn't get near as badI don't wanna sound too harsh, but this film is probably one of the weakest films to come out of Dreamworks. And against films like Shrek 4 and Over the Hedge, that is saying something. But there are ways in which it doesn't get near as bad as Shark Tale. The animation is very vibrant, the heart really works, and you'll be able to find yourself rooting for the main characters Oh and Tip on their journey. But where the movie fails is definitely in the writing. The movie tends to get highly predictable and generic, characters like Smek and Kyle are obnoxious, and the soundtrack is nothing but Rihanna songs. Don't get me wrong, though, Rihanna is a good singer, but does every song in this film have to be crafted by her? Aside from Feel the Light? The good elements of the movie are there, but they get overshadowed by the terrible writing.… Expand
