I’d say Parker, Najimy and Midler all did a great public service coming back to these characters and deserve the thanks of a grateful nation for giving this their all, giving us a few laughs and a lot of grins and giving legions of little girls Disney role models who aren’t princesses waiting around for some prince to get a clue. The original Hocus Pocus holds a very special place in my heart and I re-watch it every single year around Halloween, as is the case with many others who grew up in the 90s. In my opinion, they did an amazing job of keeping the same sort of feel as the original (a bit campy, a bit 90s,The original Hocus Pocus holds a very special place in my heart and I re-watch it every single year around Halloween, as is the case with many others who grew up in the 90s. This is an entertaining enough watch. Its pretty much what you might expect - family friendly, mildly spooky on ocassion and with some amusing modern references and decent dialogue at times. I wasn't convinced the plot was entirely original but it's still relatively watchable and I imagineThis is an entertaining enough watch. I really wanted to love this movie but the politics in the movie really got to me. The cast was good and I enjoyed the cast but there were politics in the movie that really bothered me. Why can't they leave kids films alone? Aren't kids already confused enough as it is?… Expand

None of the jokes landed, the plot went nowhere and every single scene in the movie was forgettable aside from the three sisters singing "One Way or Another".

They used some classic references from the first movie but this was a total flop. I really expected more from Disney but they ruined it & left it open ended.

Absolutely awful. I don't know why, but I didn't expect forced modern agendas into the movie. This is just a movie of the time that slapped hocus pocus on it. Moreover, the tropes in it are not well done. It was like a flashy B-rated movie.
