What should have been a nice little comedy is overwhelmed by Nia Vardalos who doesn't come across as overly involved - she just seems psychotic. It's evident that the director simply lost control when Vardalos signed on. The other actors are fine - and there is a nice relationship between the boy and his father. But Vandals is just unwatchable.… Expand

I really enjoyed this movie. Not sure why so much negativity :-) just got out of high school and have been dealing with things like this for a long time plus moms are always annoying. I thought Jason Dolley was really cute. Also Kate FlanneryI really enjoyed this movie.
