Summary:Even with good intentions and an abundance of love, parents can sometimes become...smothering. There's just one wrench in her grand plans: Lloyd doesn't even know whether he's gay or not - and he's just asked a cute girl to prom (Skyler Samuels). I really enjoyed this movie. Not sure why so much negativity :-) just got out of high school and have been dealing with things like this for a long time plus moms are always annoying. I thought Jason Dolley was really cute. Also Kate Flannery from the office is super fun
What should have been a nice little comedy is overwhelmed by Nia Vardalos who doesn't come across as overly involved - she just seems psychotic. It's evident that the director simply lost control when Vardalos signed on. The tone is way off.
