misses on all counts - nothing original, zero humor. sufficiently poor to make one wonder who green lighted this disaster. Garlin is fine, and could probably shine with some decent writing and something resembling an interesting story.

Either way, I thought it was solidly funny. Jeffs character plays the likable next door neighbor who is a detective. A lot of the dialogue seems ad libbed with characters making jokes on the fly, you almost feel like you're watching friends having a good time whilst also making a movie, which is fine when it works, and thankfully it does here for the most part. Just don't expect any aerial, high crane or helicopter camera shots with a endless budget here and you'll be fine. As the start of a series I'd give it an 8. But as a stand alone movie I give it a 7.… Expand

Incredibly dull, so dry it fails to be a comedy, more of a chore to finish watching it.
