Not as bad as you would've expected, but still very in-your-face and dull sometimes. Either way, 'Fresh' tries something new with a thriller in the vein of 'Get Out' (not as good of course). Either way, 'Fresh' tries something new with a thriller in the vein of 'Get Out' (not as good of course). Sebastian Stan goes full Patrick Bateman in this, and there are two or three very funny moments. The runtime is unjustified, but the way the story changes after a half-hour is the best part of it. The story is simple, a mix of the social anxiety of online dating and cannibal horror. Noa the young lead character is looking for a man. I wouldn't say the love of her life, but a decent man, and when she meets the one who seems too good to be true, plot-wise uncomplicated if predictable, it turns out that this man is actually too good to be true and not in a good way. Fresh's critique of the horrors that modern dating can entail is present. There are some scenes involving the fear and verbal abuse that women often experience in that arena, but Fresh is not a film that seeks to be a purely social commentary story. It never delves too deeply into that area because ultimately the overall concept is and remains that of a horror film. The plot collapses in a poorly prepared third act that is limited by its setting to a death-or-escape closure that fails to build to a satisfying payoff.
It cleverly doesn't push things too far and knows it's time to conclude, but at that point the very absurdity of the story is merely functional cause there was no where else to go. Was good, but it will only stay with you for a moment.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Horror movie made in 2022. Again, cannibalism sauce of the money fathers was added in order to add a difference to the familiar issues. But that's silly. Two pieces of music caught my attention in the movie. The first is the one that plays while the girl and the guy are on vacation, and the second is during the casting. The movie turns people off from eating meat.

A girl who is unsuccessful in finding a lover meets a man at the grocery store. They immediately become lovers. They go on vacation before they even know each other. But they have to stay overnight at the man's house. The girl wakes up as a prisoner after drinking the medicated drink. It turned out that the man was a human butcher who slaughtered women alive and sold their meat to the rich.

Does anyone know what the role of the bartender was?

Why don't the killers in these movies die or get so injured that they can't get up from the ground?

Why the man's wife is such a maniac is also incomprehensible.

What happened to the kids and the indian-type guy at the end?
